The Arrival Pt. 12

After a slight pause Janice said, "Because I'll stop being human but I can do anything and everything to please you and everyone you want me to please."

"Good girl," Alissa said as she rubbed Janice's head and then slowly traced her fingers down her neck then over her chest where she flicked a nipple playfully, then down her rounded stomach and pelvis where she circled her clit,

Once Janice came Alissa stopped and turned around, "Shall we continue working?" She asked everyone else.

Everyone agreed as they spread out to continue working, Alissa started towards the exit to collect some more wood for support, as she exited the cave Alissa noticed the two bears following her, *Giving me a hand?* Alissa asked Syll.

*Yes, I also plan to bring in two more trees, if my calculations are correct we will need two.* Syll explained as they exited the cave, the bears approached a large oak tree, Alissa felt drawn to an ancient Douglas fir, *This tree will provide pillars for the pool room.*

Alissa stared up at it's massive height and hoped no one would notice it falling, Alissa held out her hand and felt it extend and harden into a blade, Alissa focused all of her strength into a sideways cut.

Alissa felt some pain as her hand lodged itself halfway through the tree, Alissa pulled it out and sighed, "Damn thought I could do it in one," she mumbled to herself.

"Considering you did half of it in one is shocking enough," Berjit said out loud from behind Alissa.

Aliss jumped and spun quickly, "Jeez don't scare me like that," she said slightly panicked as she let out a breath of relief.

"Sorry but I was curious what you were going to do out here, will you continue?" Berjit asked Alissa as she turned around and readied for another swing.

"Yup I want this tree down, it's going to be the main pillar in the pool room," Alissa explained as she swung again this time hitting an inch or two lower than the first hit, she pulled her hand out and readied for a third strike, after several attempts Alissa managed to cut it down, it fell down loudly then smashed into the ground shaking it.

"Wow that was loud," Berjit said slightly awed.

"Yup, now time to take branches off," Alissa said as she started to walk towards the fallen tree, she started to cut branches off as the bears came out of the cave and started to drag the branches in.

As Alissa finished cutting off the branches the bears moved to both ends and started to peel the bark off while putting some kind of clear liquid on the bare wood, *What are they doing?* Alissa asked Syll as she and Berjit walked to the cave.

*Waterproofing it so my natural form won't eat away at it,* Syll explained to Alissa as the bears made quick work on the large tree.

*Ah I see, anything else I can do to help? Or should I go back and do something else?* Alissa asked Syll as the bears took one end each and lifted it, as they started towards the cave Alissa stood to the side with Berjit letting the bears go first.

"Ready to go back?" Berjit asked Alissa as they turned and followed the bears.

"Ya Syll doesn't need anything else done right now so I'm going to head back, what about you? It's nearly lunchtime, think you could drive back or would that be too much?" Alissa asked Berjit.

"I can, I'll just have to get the gator out first, I'll take Claudette with me if she wants to come," Berjit said as they watched the bears put down the log of wood down near the entrance to the pool room.

"Sounds good, hopefully you can come back with a lot of food," Alissa giggled as she realised it sounded like she was ordering take out from the most powerful women on campus.

"I'll be back then I have to go and deal with paperwork after I bring the food here," Berjit said as her phone started to ring, she picked it out of her pocket and answered, "Hello?" She answered, a few minutes of listening to her face dropped from happy to worried.

"What's wrong?" I asked as she hung up and sighed loudly.

"Remember the place you stole from, well they have footage of me picking you up, some how they got my face even when it was covered the same with Claudette, now they sent three retrieval teams, the security here can't handle that and backup won't arrive in time, if they do what I expect them to they'll raid the school and buildings looking for me, they might kill people, I'd hate to ask you, but can you and stall them please?" Berjit asked as she opened her phone and started to call security.

"I'll try but I don't know how long I'll be able to," Alissa answered as she told Syll to warn everyone, Alissa turned and looked around, *Syll do you see them?* Alissa asked her as she felt her hair grow down and cling to her body covering it and fusing together to create armour.

*Yes I do, south east, I have been watching them for roughly thirty seconds. I was about to warn you when Berjit was called.* Syll explained to Alissa as she took off running, after a few moments she heard the two bears slowly catching up to her as she ran.

*Syll how many and is everyone safe?* Alissa asked as she closed an eye and saw through one of the squirrels, Alissa saw a large group break up into three smaller teams, one going straight the other two going left and right.

*Thirty troops, three teams of ten, I'll have black charge left and brown charge right,* Syll said to Alissa who nodded in agreement.

As they ran both bears peeled off each side, Alissa turned slightly and jumped off a stone and started to jump from branch to branch, as she closed in she slowed down and started to move stealthily through the treetops.

Alissa heard them walk towards her, she crouched and was surprised when she saw three walking forward, four walking sideways two on each side and three walking backwards a few feet behind them, Alissa noticed some of them had googles looking around and up as well.

*They know about us!? Must be from the break in," Alissa thought to Syll as she stopped moving hoping they wouldn't notice her.

As Corporal Alaster led his group forward he whispered into the mic in his helmet, "Keep tabs on the treetops, remember what that thing did," he ordered his four scouts, they did as ordered and looked up searching for the invisible assailant.

"I don't understand why we have to use this many men for three girls," a soldier to the left muttered, he heard a few agreeing words coming from his team.

"You saw the video after they fixed it, that thing is fast strong and bullet resistant, they only noticed it when it completed it's task, where to get those two who picked it up, and try to bring it down and bring it with us," the Corporal explained.

"As for bystanders?" The new recruit asked, sounding slightly nervous.

"Silence them, whether lethal or not is up to you but I would prefer non lethal," Corporal said to all the teams as he moved forward.

There was a sudden gust of wind and a pained grunt from his left, he held his hand up to stop the team and looked around, the scout to his left picked up a helmet and looked at him in shock, everyone grouped up close and looked everywhere trying to spot the assailant.

A heavy thud to his left made everyone jump and face towards it, the flashlights on their guns lit up a helmetless soldier on the ground, the closest one to it checked his vitals, as one of them crouched to read his heartbeat another gust of wind zipped by and his two team members flew into nearby trees smashing into them with loud yelps of pain, when they landed they rolled around in shock and pain wondering what hit them.

As he was about to speak Corporal heard screaming over the radio, only making out the words 'bear'...'bulletproof'...'focus fire', he looked around at his team before saying to everyone, "RETREAT," as he and his team left with the three unconscious men he only received the acknowledgment of six men from the other teams, as they retreat the two men from Charlie squad screamed and went silent, Corporal Alaster turned and said to everyone, "Rendezvous asap."

As both teams converged Alpha team looked at the relieved looked Bravo team came around the trees into the small clearing, the man leading the other two other men and the one wounded man smiled, Corporal Alaster smiled in relief then looked on in horror as massive brown bear stood up behind them, before anything was said the bear brought down it's two large paws smashing two of them into the ground, the group leaders face fell as he turned around in time to see a massive mouth clasp onto his face, as the bear moved forward it stepped onto the wounded man's chest caving it in with it's weight, "OPEN FIRE," the Corporal screamed terrified.

As they poured bullets into the beast it covered it's face and backed up and fled, the men turned around and started toward the choppers, the recruit looked at the mangled corpses and vomited barely moving his mask in time, "Don't worry where nearly out of this hell hole," a man to his left said as he pulled him back into position.

After what seemed like hours they arrived at the choppers and began to run towards them, stopping when they saw a figure clad in black standing between them and freedom, the team readied their weapons and opened fire, to their stunned disbelief the figure seemed to dance around avoiding the bullets.

As it got closer to one of the larger men he charged forward pulling two knives from his back and attempted to stab it, the figure caught his hands and crushed them before breaking both knees with one foot smashing his legs outwards causing him to crumple, before they could fire again the figure closed in on them and gave an uppercut to a soldier's torso making him vomit as he was lifted five feet into the air, before he landed the figured managed to knock out everyone else but Corporal Alaster, who was pinned beneath the figure.

Alaster stared in horror as a face slowly started to appear, he heard a female voice saying "Now I'm going to get all the information I can from you, then your going to disappear forever," as he shook his head scared he realised the women in the suit was just a teenager, then gasped as he was kissed, he tried to resist but something unnaturally smooth and warm pushed into his mouth then his throat where he felt pins and needles then nothing as he fainted.

As Syll went to work on the leader Alissa stood shaking her head and sighing, *Syll I wish you didn't kill the other troops,* She thought to her as she turned around and looked at the unconscious pilots, "At least we now have something to travel in," Alissa said.

*I am sorry Alissa but I felt the need to remove the threats, they posed too much danger to our collective.* Syll told Alissa as she walked to the choppers and dragged out the men putting them beside the others who were unconscious or immobilized.

*True, that I also understand, how is information extraction going?* Alissa asked as she watched the leader's body twitch and move, after a few moments a tiny eight sided crystal appeared on his forehead, Alissa moved to pick it up and the slime moved from one body to the next collecting all the information.

"Leave them alone after, let their bosses find them," Alissa said as she went to the choppers and started to drag them closer to the base.
