"Oh really," Sarah said teasingly. "Who that be?"
Matt kissed the tip of her nose; "You." was all he said.
Suzy started to open her mouth again but Ben stepped in and told her to be quiet, and that Sarah deserved Matt almost as much as Matt deserved Sarah.
As soon as the words were out of his mouth a light went on in Suzy's head.
"OMG," she exclaimed, "It's her isn't it? Your in love with Sarah."
The room went silent waiting for his response.
"Yeah I am," Ben admitted, "And because I worried about what my friends might say I was an idiot and I lost her."
In a huff Suzy turned and left the cafeteria, a few of her friends following along. When Ben looked over at Matt and Sarah nose to nose in conversation, he envied them. If only he'd grown up a little sooner, it might have been him, Sarah looked at with love and trust, but she had Matt and they were happy and that's honestly what he wanted for them. And though he hated to admit it, Matt was by far the better choice.

Anonymousalmost 15 years agoI really enjoyed this. I'm waiting for a guy like that to find me. Everything in this chapter really describe me as far as the guy not I Loved it! I have, as most BBWs, a "Suzy" and "Ben" in my life... Just waiting on a permanent "Matt". I think this was wonderful I'm blown away by the emotions that were used in this work... this author should DEFINITELY write book and script for movie! :)
Anonymousover 18 years agoAs a BBW i have to say i loved this story I have not had the chance to read the other chapters but this one is great. I am with a great looking guy just like in the story he was and still is the best thing that has happoned to me.I hope you keep going with the story
Anonymousover 18 years agoI was always (and still am, to some degree, at 43) every guy's best friend. I wasn't terribly pretty, terribly girly, or skinny at all. Women fight body image issues every day thanks to the "norms" established in the media. We're bombarded with diet aids, and rail-thin models ... even porn stars are damn near perfect. It's nice to read a truly romantic story about a zaftig woman getting the gorgeous guy. While it may be too late for me, I hope there are gorgeous men out there that will look beyond the outer shell to the woman inside. It's a proven fact that big girls like me have had to work hard to truly become fantastic all the way around ... we weren't allowed to just slide through life on a small waist and pefect thighs!
Anonymousover 18 years agoBeautiful, sexy, full figured women are wonderful, especially if they come with brains. Sarah was all of those with the kind of figure that men truly desire. I have been married to a woman with that kind of figure for nearly twenty-one years and we have two teen-aged daughters. I couldn't have made a better choice.
