"Oh, God!" Marly said again. She got up and started throwing things into the suitcases, unable to look anyone in the face. Shelley and Janet came over and helped her out with the process. "We'll sort all of this stuff out once we're on our way." Shelley told her. "It's OK, sweetie. We've all been there before."
Since mine was already on board, I carried Marly's luggage down for her. By the time we made it to the docks, she had almost regained her composure. As soon as she saw which boat we would be boarding, a gasp escaped her lips.
Everyone began to settle in, while Freddie cast off the lines, went up to the flybridge, moved us away from the dock, and headed the big boat slowly out towards open water.
