"How is that?" I asked, not understanding what she meant.

"I was sitting by the pool contemplating some very silly things when I heard your truck door shut. You don't know it but you saved my life."

I didn't know what to say. I just stared at her with my mouth open.

"This little show was my way of saying thank you."

"Uh, no thanks necessary. That would have been such a waste," I whispered.

Helen smiled shyly and nodded. "I see that now."

I smiled back at her and said, "They say everything happens for a good reason and maybe we're our own good reason."

"Two lonely people?" She asked.

When I nodded, she sighed and held up the hand that had rubbed her sex. "Want a taste?"

I grinned and replied, "I thought you would never ask."

Great, So Far

What a delightful surprise of a story! I'd love to read more chapters, but it's great as is as well. I really enjoy your story-telling. The characters seem very real to me. Well done!
