Surprises galore!
I can't say enough about how much I'm enjoying this story and your characters. Reading this story is like waiting to open your birthday gifts. You never know what is in each package until it is fully opened and unveiled. Then, Surprise! That's how I feel about each chapter of "The Cabin." I never know what the content of the story will be or what will occur with the characters, but I do know that your story will always surprise me and your writing never disappoints. This is one of my fave stories here. It's so good. It's so realistic in terms of how it's written and yet so bizarre that I keep waiting for Aubrey to wake up and be like, whoa that acid trip was crazy! that was a great touch that her ex husband can see everyone. Amazing depth
You have really created something special here as Aubrey unravels her own mysterious self. I've squirmed a little in sympathy for the discomfort that the heroine is going through in the name of self discovery. And so clever writing about a writer and the challenges of pursuing an authentic story, balancing what your do wish to reveal with what you want to share. Incredible.more...
