As soon as I get off the plane and into the gates of the Golden Door, I know this is where I need to be to clear my head and think about Sir, Anna and Brian, my career, my life and my spirit. I need to recharge and as I unpack in my room, I know that I made the right decision. I need this.

In New York, Anna is in my bed. She holds onto my nightgown and she thinks about everything that has happened since we've been together. She realizes that I am right, we need this time. She needs to think about what happened with her uncle, about her upcoming marriage, about what her life will be like and about Brian and helping him. As she falls asleep she realizes that she needs this time alone.

He realizes that he has been pushing too hard, been too needy and he needs to think about how much I mean to him, how much being my sub and my husband means to him and where he wants his life to go.
