The Choice Ch. 39

Keith arrives with more information. The house will be ready in a week. Sherry will be arriving in two days. Paul tells Keith the plan and orders Keith to keep an eye on the house and me. He has found the floor plans.

But which child shall he take? He doesn't want to take Sir's child, so he decides to take one of the twins and prepare her for submission. This child will be raised as a slave for Dylan. He grins at the thought and begins to make plans.

The time has come for Brian to be released. We haven't spoken in three days and I go downstairs to get him. He is lying in the dark on the cot as I come downstairs. I turn on the light, he has a lamp in his cell but it is off. "Were you sleeping my pet?" I say.

He shakes his head and gets up. As I open the cell door, he throws his arms around me. "I love you Mistress. I adore you. I want you to know that this wasn't your fault. I knew what Misty was up to. A part of me enjoyed the attention. I'm a grown man with a family and yes sometimes it is hard sharing you, but I shouldn't have drunk so much and I should have locked my door."

We kiss passionately. "Tonight I'm sleeping with you." I say taking his hand.

He pulls me back, "Can we sleep together tomorrow night instead of tonight?"

Raising my eyebrow, I say, "sure."

He kisses my forehead. "That cot is uncomfortable and I really want to take a shower and stretch out in bed."

We both laugh. Taking Brian's hand, we go upstairs to the kitchen. Applaud erupts as we come up the stairs. Everyone including Randolph is seated. Daisy has made all of Brian's favorite foods.

"What's all this?" He says looking at me. Anna comes over to him and kisses him.

"After punishment comes pleasure and we wanted to make sure that you know that we love you and forgive you. We also want you to know that this is a new start." Pulling Brian's face down to hers, she kisses him deeply.

Dinner is really a fun affair. Stephen sits on his father's lap and eats while Dylan sits beside them. Misty is still a little afraid of Anna and me and keeps her distance. We think she has learned her lesson.

Frederick has informed us that he will have everything ready in ten days. He is coming to New York to bring the papers they will need to leave the US. The feds have come to see him also and said that if Misty can get something on Paul they will put her into the witness protection program.

Misty has told us that she doesn't know a great deal about Paul's business dealings. He kept her in the dark, but she does know that there is a safe in their home in Las Vegas that is hidden.

Randolph makes sure that Frederick gets the information. So tonight, we celebrate. After dinner, Brian takes Dylan and Stephen up to his apartment. They spend the night with him just those boys. I find them all a few hours later sound asleep in Brian's bed and cover them.

Anna and I read to the girls and put them down. They are both so beautiful and look a great deal like Brian except Renee has my brown eyes while Rachel has my coffee colored skin and blue eyes.

Anna sleeps in her old room and I am sleeping alone. As I lay in bed, I think about how lucky I am. I am very grateful for all that I have and my family.

Paul moves out of the hotel and into his house. Everything has been prepared. Sherry has arrived. Preparations are being made. Keith has brought six of his best men. They are all watching my house and waiting.

It takes the private detective five days to find out after he wakes up that Paul went to New York. He calls Dominic who calls a meeting. Brian asks to be included. He is the man of our house and we bring him in. Anna, Dominic, Skip, Marlene, Randolph, Andrew, Daisy and I are as prepared as we can be.

Randolph takes Brian to a shooting range and he learns to use a gun. Andrew teaches Anna.

But what they don't know is that I feel something is about to happen and I'm taking every precaution. They also don't know about the safe room and Randolph.

I will do whatever it takes to protect my family, even giving up my own life.

Paul decides to make his move in three days.

Frederick arrives with the forged passports, credit cards and cash. The plane will be ready in a week.

The FBI has made their offer again...

Misty knows nothing.

I am on edge but ready.

Randolph is ready.

We all are.
