If he could prove his desire to love and support his wife in her rule, so much the better, though he had long since resigned himself to the knowledge that it would likely be in vain - he knew of many arranged marriages, none of which involved a happy coupling.
Still, while the post-coital euphoria remained, there seemed an unspoken truce amongst the three - whatever misgivings they may yet have come morning, for now they were content, and that would have to be enough.
I like that you've turned the "delicate civilized princess married off to horse dicked hulking barbarian" trope on it's head in more ways than one.
Good story, character buildup was well done, and the honeymoon surprise sure did come as a surprise to me.
I anticipated the groom being fluent in her native tongue, which didn't show until the very end. But I never saw that Futanari connection coming! Shocked the groom too, ha ha. But he seems poised to take control of the entire situation.
You have laid the groundwork for an interesting tale, indeed. Looking forward to the next part.
