The Coffee Shop Pt. 03

"I'm a bit surprised that you haven't pushed the idea of hypnosis more," Andrew said to me. "After all you admitted that you really enjoy hypnotizing guys and that you are attracted to me. I was expecting you to put up more of a fight, so to speak."

"Andrew," I said quietly. "Didn't I make it clear to you that I can't hypnotize you against your will?" (Boy, was THAT the truth!). "You have to want to have this happen, or nothing will happen. I am not going to waist my time and effort trying to hypnotize you, if you don't want to be hypnotized in the first place. Such an effort is sure to fail."

"I see," he said and there was a touch of disappointment in his voice.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Well, I think I was expecting more from you," Andrew answered vaguely

"In what way, exactly?" I prompted him.

"I'm not sure," he responded hesitantly. "I think I was expecting you to be more forceful and more demanding."

"More demanding?" I asked in a puzzled voice.

"Well, I didn't expect you to take 'no' for an answer and give up so easily," Andrew said and looked directly at me. "I thought you'd pursue the matter, maybe tell about all the good things that can be done with hypnosis to, you know, kind of talk me into it."

"Ah, I see," I said very quietly. "I don't like trying to talk someone into something that they say that they do not want to do. I don't like playing 'mind games' such as that. To me, 'no' means 'no', not 'maybe', and certainly not 'take me I'm yours'. I have told you how I feel about wanting to hypnotize you, Andrew, and when you said 'no' I thought it best to leave it at that."

"When you've seen something that you wanted, I mean really wanted, haven't you ever gone after it and kept going after it until you got it?" Andrew asked me, looking intently at me.

I almost lost my train of thought as I listened to that sexy, honey smooth tenor voice of Andrew's. He was quite a package. Good looks, wonderful voice, sexy and gay. I sighed softly to myself, as I came to realize that there might be a few things about Andrew that I might not like, or that I might actually dislike. Plus and minus. I dragged my thoughts back to the issue at hand and did my best to give Andrew an answer.

"If you are talking about a thing, then yes I have done that," I said. "However, if you are talking about a person, the answer is no. Andrew, people are not things. Everyone deserves a little common courtesy, and respect. When someone tells you 'no' you have to respect that decision as well as the person. People who say 'no' when they really mean 'yes' like to play games and manipulate other people. I don't enjoy doing that, and especially do not like having that done to me. Frankly, I really don't have the time or energy to waist on such games. I would rather spend my time with people who mean what they say, and don't have hidden agendas. Open and truthful communication is the foundation of any type of relationship, be it friends, neighbors or lovers. Complete honesty is not possible, nor would I expect it, since everyone has to tell a 'little white lie' at one time or another."

"I'm sorry to sound as if I am preaching at you," I said to him with a sad smile. "We all have different values and beliefs, and these are mine. I take people at face value, and I believe what they tell me until proven otherwise. I am enjoying your company tonight. If you want to do something then just come out and tell me. Please, don't hint or tempt or play coy. I don't know you well enough right now to understand your different moods, and I would not want to accidentally annoy or insult you." (My that was a mouthful, and despite my claim, I was preaching at him. I was so tired of people playing games that as soon as I started to see it happening I tried to put an immediate stop to it. I have had more than one guy leave in a huff after being preached at. To be honest, I've never missed those guys or regretted what I have said to them.)

Andrew looked at me, and blinked his eyes a few times, but he didn't say anything. I waited quietly. The ball was in his court, so to speak. He looked at me, and I could not for the life of me, figure out what the expression on his face meant, nor did I have any idea of what he might be thinking. Mind you, I was probably not paying as close attention to his face and expression as I should have been. I was somewhat blinded by his attractive features. His was a very handsome face, as I have described it before, but up close like this, with the light from the fireplace reflected off his clean smooth skin, he was even more attractive. Inside I ached to cradle that face of his in my hands and to plant a warm soft tender, and yes sensuous, kiss on to those lips of his. I tore my gaze away from his face and let my eyes roam downward to get a close look at Andrew's body. Massive shoulders, and a narrow waist. Strong muscular legs, from what I could tell since he was wearing those riding pants. His hands were folded easily in his lap and so I could not get a very good look at the front of his uniform pants but those black pants with the yellow stripe down the outside seam would not have revealed much anyway. They were riding pants and thus were very loose fitting until they tapered down to his knees. I would have enjoyed tracing that yellow stripe with my fingers, but it was much too early to consider anything like that. The high brown boots of his uniform reflected the flames of the fire like mirrors. It was almost painful to look at. The boots stopped at about mid calf on his lower legs. His legs were not stretched out in front of him but were in the normal position when one is seated, with his feet flat on the floor (well rug in this case). His legs looked as strong and powerful as the rest of his body, and I trembled slightly as I realize just how powerful, how physically strong this man sitting next to me really was. I wasn't trembling with fear, but with anticipation. I wanted to know what his uniform was beneath the jacket.

I switched my gaze back to Andrew's face and he hadn't moved a muscle. Not even a twitch. I smiled that small innocent smile of mine at him. I couldn't think of anything else to do. Actually I could think of a LOT of things to do, but none of which would have had a snowball's chance in hell of success, at least not at this time.

Andrew leaned forward and placed his lips near my left ear. "Okay," he whispered at me, and then sat back, but he did not smile, not even a hint of one. Even when he whispered his voice was like liquid sound that flowed into my ear and brain. "How can a man have such a sexy and provocative voice without even trying?" I wondered to myself.

"Okay, what?" I asked him speaking softly.

"Go ahead and try to hypnotize me," Andrew answered softly. "It is the reason why I came here tonight. But I think I should warn you that it's been tried before without much success."

"Just as long as you work with me on this, Andrew," I said to him. "Please don't try and fight me, that is all I ask. Thank you for trying this."

"You're welcome. Now what?" He asked.

"To begin with, sit up straight with your feet flat on the floor and with your hands flat on your lap turned palm up," I instructed him. He took a few moments to comply.

"Do not bother responding to what I say with any type of verbal response. Just nod your head for a 'yes' or shake side to side for a 'no'. Do you understand?" I asked him. Andrew nodded his head once.

"Is it all right with you if I call you Andy?" I asked him. "Andrew sounds so formal and well, stuffy." I grinned at him.

He nodded his head and smiled back at me. My little joke has eased some of the tension, which was good.

"Fine," I said. "I would like you to focus your attention on the flames dancing in the fireplace. Don't pick out any one flame, just let your eyes jump around from flame to flame as fire moves about in the fireplace. That is all I would like you to look at and to think about. Just focusing on the flames and what they look like. Their colors and how alive they seem." Andrew's eyes shifted from looking at me to gazing on the flames in the fireplace. The switch was easy and that was a good sign, but it was much too early to tell how much of a success this was going to be.

"Think only of the flames in the fireplace and how much you enjoy looking at them," I told him. "Let everything else fade into the background. Each and every time when you feel yourself experiencing the situations and sensations that I describe, each and every time when you feel them happen just nod your head."

I paused for a few moments and then continued after I saw Andrew nod his head again. "Think only of the flames and soon and very soon indeed you will find it becomes just a bit easier to keep your eyes focused on the flames, and to follow them as they move around. When that happens, nod your head, Andy. Just focus on the flames moving around and soon and very soon indeed you will become aware of the sensation of your feet pressing down in your boots, and when that happens you nod your head."

Those wonderful warm brown eyes of Andrew's were flicking around as he let his attention jump from one flame to another, and he nodded his head a couple of times as the suggestions began to take hold.

"Finding it easier and easier to keep looking and following the flames as they move around, Andy," I said to him in a smooth mellow tone. Andrew's head nodded a second or two later. "Becoming more aware of the position of your body as you sit there watching the flame. The weight of your hands in your lap, and the warm comfortable feeling of your buttocks as they press down in the cushions on the sofa. Becoming just a bit more comfortable as you sit there and watch the flames. Coming to the realization that you are experiencing a simple state of relaxation, as you focus your mind and attention more and more on the flames and on my voice. Finding that it becomes a bit easier to maintain your focus with each word that I utter and with each breath that you take. Feeling yourself becoming more centered, and more in control of yourself as you start to follow along with the statements I say to you." Andrew's eyes started to become fixated on the flames and I noticed the muscles of his face start to slacken as his attention became more and more focused on listening to my words and on the flames in the fireplace. This was going very well, and I was pleased at how well he was responding.

"When you notice a change in your breathing, Andy, you just nod your head. When you feel that your body is starting to relax just a bit more, you nod you head again," I said to him keeping my voice smooth mellow and even. Andrew nodded his head a couple of times. I continued. "Each and every time, when you feel that sense of relaxation growing and starting to spread throughout your body, you nod your head. It feels good doesn't it?" I asked.

He nodded his head and I saw his eyes start to blink a few times. He was going into hypnosis like a classic textbook subject. I found it hard to believe that he'd had problems being hypnotized before.

"Relaxation growing strong with each word that I utter and with each breath that you take," I said. "Feeling the sense of relaxation deepen, and when it does, you find that your eyes blink a bit more frequently, as the muscles around your eyes start to relax just as the muscles in your face become more and more relaxed. Knowing that you are safe and secure, and that when you want to go deeper into relaxation, all that you have to do is to keep following along with my voice and to nod your head."

Andrew's head bobbed up and down a few times, and he let out a long deep sigh as he slipped even deeper into hypnosis. He might not have realized that was the case, but I was sure of it. All the physical signs were there. His eyes were blinking very frequently now, but he did not seem to have any problems maintaining his focus on the flames in the fireplace. His legs were starting to spread out a bit as he started to relax, and I notice that he was beginning to slouch as he became more and more relaxed.

"Feeling yourself going deeper, Andy, don't you?" I asked him. There was a slight delay but then he nodded his head again. "The deeper you go the better you feel, Andy, and the better you feel the deeper you go. Always going deeper, always feeling better. Finding it so very easy to just let go and drift even deeper down into a special place in your mind. A place that for you represents security, safely, peace and comfort."

Andrew's head continued to bob up and down and he nodded it several times in a row. I noticed that his lips had parted and he had silently mouthed some words, but since I don't read lips I could not be sure what it was that he had said to me.

"Deeper and deeper, and your entire body, becoming more and more relaxed," I said to him. "Your eyelids becoming so relaxed now that it starts to become tiring to keep them open, as much as you want to keep looking at the flames in the fireplace."

"Blink, blink, blink," I said to him, in time with the blinking of his eyelids. "Letting go and going deeper with each blink of you eyes, Andy. Becoming more and more difficult to keep your eyes open. Almost as if with each blink your eyelids are getting heavier as you feel yourself letting go even easier, and drifting down deeper and deeper."

Andrew was blinking his eyes very frequently now, and his face had a blank vacant look pasted on it. He was starting to sway just a little bit, as he sat there staring intently into the flames of the fire. His head had dipped about two or three centimeters, as the muscles in his neck had started to relax. I smiled and watched him for a few moments, savoring the delicious and delightful scene in front of me. He was so damn good looking! I was intensely aroused by the sight of him sitting there next to me on the sofa, staring at the flames in the fireplace. I had a bit of a case of tented trousers, if you get my drift. It was the sight of this hunk, this stud, this major league stud muffin in an RCMP uniform (less the hat and gloves), letting go and slipping even deeper into hypnosis that was causing me to feel so very good. I had to remain focused on the task at hand, though, and get him very deep into hypnosis if it was going to be a successful session.

"When you feel your eyelids become so heavy, that all you want to do is to close them, and to slip down even deeper into this special place of yours, Andy, just let me know," I said to him suggestively. "Eyelids so heavy, that when you finally close them, your head will drop to your chest and a wave of relaxation will pass through every muscle in your body as you let go completely, and feel yourself going down ten times deeper than you are now."

Andrew was having some difficulty keeping his eyes open now. Slowly the lids would close and then he would wrench them open, which cause his head to jerk upward a bit. His eyes would blink some more, and then closely close again, whereas he would wrench them open again with another jerk of his head. He managed to nod his head a few times between each wrenching of his eyelids, and thus I knew that he was ready to let go and go even deeper.

"When you feel my fingers touch your forehead, Andy, your eyelids will finally snap shut, and you can let go," I said to him as I raised my left arm and placed the fingers of my left hand just in front of Andrew's forehead, being careful to keep them out of his view. Andrew quickly nodded his head, and again his lips moved in silence, as he said something. I placed my lips near to Andrew's right ear, and prepared myself. "Deep Sleep!" I breathed loudly into his ear and at the exact same time pressed down suddenly and firmly on his forehead.

Andrew's eyes fluttered closed and slowly his head sank down until his chin touched his chest. He let out a long slow deep sigh, and his beautiful body swayed a few times as more and more of his muscles relaxed. A few heartbeats later he slouched down low into the sofa, and his knees spread wide apart. I looked at his face, his profile as he sat there next to me, and I saw a smile slowly form on his lips. His face looked peaceful and at ease.

"How do you feel, Andy?" I asked him.

"Relaxed and good," he whispered. "Comfortable."

"Fine," I said. "Would you like to go even deeper and feel even better?" Andrew did not say anything. He only nodded his head a few times, and continued to smile.

"Going even deeper now, Andy," I said to him. "As I count backward from 10 to zero, with each and every descending number you will feel yourself going even deeper into this wonderful state of hypnosis and feeling even better." Andrew nodded his head a few times, but did nothing else.

"Ten. Starting to let go just a bit more. Finding it easier and easier to let go. Nine. Slipping down deeper and deeper, Andy. Eight. Letting go becomes easier and easier. Seven. The deeper you go the better you feel and the better you feel the deeper you go. Always going deeper always feeling better. Six. Following my voice, my words as they help you to continue to go down deeper and deeper. Five. Slipping down easily now. Just continuing to go even deeper. Four. With each word that I utter and with each breath that you take, feeling yourself going down deeper and deeper. Three. Going down deeper and deeper and deeper. More and more relaxed, and comfortable, and at peace. Two. The deeper you go the better you feel, and the better you feel the deeper you go. Always going deeper, always feeling better. One. Nearly there now, going down even deeper. Zero. Ten times deeper than you were before, Andy."

During my monologue, Andrew nodded his head a lot and started to slump down even more. As his body became more and more relaxed he started to lean forward more and more. Slowly, his head and chest dropped lower and lower as they headed for his knees. By the end of the count his body was folded over and his head was nearly between his knees. I looked at him as he lay there slumped over and my mind was awash with intense feelings of exhalation, exhilaration, ecstasy and euphoria. I had done it! He was hypnotized very deeply but I could not leave him in that position. It would be come very uncomfortable for him in a short time. I stood up and walked over in front of him. Carefully I place my hands on his shoulders and pushed his body upwards. It wasn't at all easy since he was a very large and heavy man. (I know, I know, if you had been there with me you'd have been only to glad to help me . At times like this, friends like you, I don't need!) I pushed and shoved and finally I managed to move Andrew's body upward until it toppled over backwards, to land on the back of the sofa with a soft thump. His head rolled to the right side and his arms had moved off of his lap and were lying by his sides, loose and limp. He looked like a rag doll. A very cute rag doll in an RCMP uniform. (sigh) But there were a few more things to do yet.

"Feeling better Andy?" I asked him as I reached over and picked up his right hand with my left hand, and placed Andrew's right hand back in his lap. I sat down beside Andrew now that I'd cleared off some room on the sofa. True confessions time. I was tempted, for just a second or so, to sit down on top of Andrew's hand. The thought of my buttocks on top of and around Andrew's hand was very erotic. The idea of those strong fingers of that large hand protruding just slightly between my butt cheeks and restrained only by the fabric of my suit pants (and also my underwear) was delectable. Reluctantly, I admitted to myself that it was much too soon for anything like that. I could not take liberties with Andrew that I could have with some who was really in my power. This was only hypnosis, not super hypnosis after all.
