With tears running down her cheeks and a lump in her throat Erin said, "All right, Lilith. I guess that will have to do, but I'll hope and pray that you'll return so we can make love again as we did this night. Until then I'll hold you in my heart and thoughts and not forget you."
Lilith smiled approvingly as she saw the room becoming lighter, and she knew she had to depart to return to the land of the living dead from whence she came.
"I must go now, Erin, my Sweet. For now, 'Adieu.' Until we meet again," Lilith said as blew Erin a soft kiss.
A soft kiss and Lilith was gone, leaving Erin to live with fond memories of their loving assignation that might have to last in memory a lifetime.
