"And you're in the same spot Jane is?"
"I don't know. Maybe. I don't want to be. I certainly can't sleep with you."
"How long has it been since Dad took care of you? Or noticed you?"
"We're a twice a month couple."
"And it gets you there or just him?"
Mom's eyes opened wide she dropped her head. "I haven't had one of those in awhile."
"Not even with power tools?"
"What? Power tools?"
Dillon covered his mouth as he laughed at her shocked face. "A vibrator. They come in handy or so I'm told."
"I don't have one of those." Her face flushed bright red. "I could never buy one of those."
Dillon's eyes narrowed at seeing her so uncomfortable. Scooting down the bed, he wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "Mom, I'm sorry. I don't mean to be so crude. It's just me. You don't have a whole lot of experience with guys, do you? How many have you been with?"
"Two. I was shy. Your dad was like you in a lot of ways. He was confidant and a charmer. I guess I was a lot like Kara. He showed interest and I flopped on my back."
"Okay. I thought you were like me. We've always joked about things. I'll stop. Can I ask you when the last time you had an orgasm was?"
"Dillon." Her hands were clenched as she shook her head to tell him to stop.
"Mom. I'm not being mean or crude. I'm concerned. The one thing I truly care about is a woman enjoying herself. That means an orgasm or a dozen if she's willing to lay down that long for me. You've had one, right?"
"Yes. I've had one."
"But it's been awhile.'
"Yes. A long while."
"Do you masturbate at all?"

"Yea, you're a woman. I get it." Dillon pressed his head to hers as he reached down and held her hand. He was getting used to this role. "Would you be willing to talk to Sammy about vibrators. She's into that. You might just hear her some night screaming out my name."
Mom shook with quiet laughter and squeezed his hand. "You just can't help yourself, can you?"
"Nope. It's genetic. Can you talk to her?"
"I can't tell her my troubles. I'm supposed to be an adult. It doesn't matter."
"Yes it does. And yes you do. That leaves us two options. You and I go shopping for toys or I take care of you."
"Dillon. You said you'd ease up."
"I didn't mean that. I meant I'd go shopping. If it embarrasses you, I'll go do it. I promise, Mom. You'll like what they can do for you. There's nothing wrong with needing to masturbate. It'll help you get over this burning need to bed me."
The swat to the back of the head brought out a burst of laughter form the both of them. Before she left, Dillon pulled her into a hug. His arms holding her tight to him as he gently ran his hands up and down her back. He didn't check the clock, but the minutes passed. She wasn't in a hurry to leave or to break the embrace. When she finally did, she pulled his head down and kissed his cheek.
Work picked up and the days drifted by as Dillon found a lovely rhythm to his life. Samantha's birth control kicked in and Dillon happily failed to knock her up over and over. The month of January passed with out drama. None of them knowing how long that would last.

You do the character building so very well. Dillon is a very readable person and you keep his character consistent. The best partner for him in your stories is Sam; their relationship is deep, mutual and understandable as close cousins who learned about life together. Some of the read with Lexi was a bit harder to stay with. Her character seemed to be much less mature than an 18 yr old, so the interaction between her and Dillon was less clearly between equals. Even though it is clearly consensual and loving, it came across as a bit creepy. She needs to find a boyfriend, soon, and move on, but I would love to learn more about the relationship with he and Sam, and also with Jane. More is good!

Anonymousover 4 years agoLoved this story! I can imagine Robin Williams as Dillon. The warm repartee and loving charm you have him makes for a wonderful character. It is refreshing to read of a rascal being not only a horny s.o.b. but a charming, loving person. I would like more stories like this. Thank you for writing a very memorable tale.

Marshallaalmost 6 years agoDillon Jackson, 20 years old, twisted, irreverent almost to the point of obnoxious, and absolutely incorrigible. But also with a good heart. A thoroughly enjoyable character.
This story, its lead in stand alone portion, and all of its chapters, has been a hell of a ride, and I loved every minute of it.

Turtle1952over 7 years agoloved the story thank you. I would like to read more of these loving characters perhaps even Sammy and Dillon getting caught and eventually living together. Alexis falling for a boy just like Dillon and maybe he gets to bed Kara a few years later.
