Yuuka sat at the counter, fingering the ticket, and listening as the bell fell silent after the girl's departure. She listened to her mother, rattling around in the back room. She had to figure out how to tell her.
Even if her mother wouldn't allow it, she'd still go. Her mother couldn't stop her.
Mr. Gairden would take care of Yukka, in every way. She just had to earn it, and to continue to learn how.
