The Highest Experiment Ch. 01

"Hey Lexi, who's this hansom devil you are holding arm and arm with?"

"Chelsea, this is Phil Young and we are getting married today!", after a pause. "Chelsea, are you alright you've gone silent"

I think at that point someone had accidentally set off world war 3....

"OH MY GOD! I'm so happy for you, when did he propose? What was it like? Can I see the ring? Have you moved in together yet? Are you thinking about children? Have your families been informed?".

"OK, OK Chelsea calm down I'll explain everything later. We have decided to get married at City Hall today and do the big family thing later"

I chimed in "Pleased to meet you Chelsea. You can call me Phil if you like". I extended my hand and she knocked it to the side, leant up and kissed me on the cheek. "Hand's off Chelsea! He's mine!"

"Sorry Lexi, I couldn't help myself. I see how happy he makes you and I'm a little jealous"

"We've been here for 5 minutes Chelsea, that's a record for you to get jealous"

They hugged and Lexi moved back to my side and snuggled in. I embraced her with my arm and we heard Chelsea say "See, the perfect gentleman and holds you close and comforts you. Also, not afraid to show you off either".

She looked down and seen her boots "WOW! Where did you got those, they are stunning! And, how do you walk on them so easily? Oh... I remember that evil ex wouldn't let you wear heels at all, would he and you told me something..." Chelsea leaned in to Lexi and whispered "Does he know about your love of heels?".

Lexi leaned in and whispered back "He does and is 100% behind me in what ever I want to do. He enables me and encourages me and we just simply fit together".

Chelsea stands straight and says "Now I'm really jealous! Do you have a brother?"

We all laugh and go into City Hall.

Thirty minutes later we emerge as Mr & Mrs Young. Chelsea, is nearly in tears and Lexi just keeps looking at the ring that linked in with the one I gave her last night. I've got a simple silver band on my ring finger.

We head off to a restaurant and have a lovely time, all grinning like Cheshire cats.

"Well Chelsea... It was a pleasure meeting you, sorry about the shock. But as you are a friend of Lexi, you are welcome around anytime. Maybe I'll introduce you to Mark, my single brother at some point".

Chelsea's reply "Thanks Phil. Congratulations again and I'm happy that Lexi seems to have found a true gentlemen, friend and (raising eyebrows up and down) lover?"

Lexi rolls her eyes and says "OK Chelsea, I'll convince Phil to introduce you to Mark. Although I feel like I'm setting him up to go swimming in shark infested waters...."

"I don't know what you are on about. Does he swim too?" said with a big grin.

After saying our goodbyes and heading home. I pick up Lexi and carry her across the threshold. I know it's old and very sappy, but it make my Lexi laugh and say "Put me down your big oaf!"

To which I reply "I think the lady does protest too much. Me thinks"

We kiss and cuddle on the sofa. We just bask in the comfort of each others arms.

Just then I hear "Beep Beep Beep Beep".

"It's finished! When do you want to do it?"

"No time like the present!"

We go down to the mini lab I've setup and I check with the computer.

It's finished assembly and the program has loaded and been confirmed that it's transferred correctly. I would not want a bug in the software at this stage. I've checked it and ran multiple simulations. After a few minor adjustments. Everything was good and this tiny blue spec was the result.

"OK.... It's done. Are you absolutely sure you want to do this"

"I've been dreaming about this everyday since you told me about it. I want it more than ever."

"Well I was just making sure."

"I love that you are already looking out for me, but asking me what I want to do. I love you more than ever!"

"OK, next fun bit, well for me anyway, strip!", I said with a big smile.

She turns towards me and pokes her tongue out. Then without a word her dress slides off. Followed by unlocking her heels and unlacing her corset. She now naked and says "Do you need the make up off too, sweetness?".

"Sorry, yes I do. "I need to check what's the result after the activation".

She then uses some make up removal towels and wipes her face clean.

She sits down on the metal chair with electrodes running all over it. She suddenly goes bright red.

She gets up goes upstairs and I hear the toilet flush go and she re-emerges 5 minutes later, wearing her plastic heels and a silk dressing gown.

"Sorry, for the delay but I tried to walk up the stairs and I really can't go flat footed any more. So I had to get the plastic heels that I use when having a shower".

"Hey, don't worry about it. Hopefully after this it won't be an issue any more. Also, the machine is online and ready to go. So... please take a seat.", I say with a wink.

She sits in the chair (no redness this time). And I adjust the sensors and grab the dish from the micro assembler. I use a pipette with a little water to suck up the blue spec and deposit it into a beaker.

"After some considerable testing this is the result of 5 years of work. All you do is swallow the water. The nano tech will do the rest".

"OK. How long till it starts w...."

"Lexi? Lexi? Are you OK".

"WOW!! It's working OK!"

I jump on my computer and check the readouts.

"I'm afraid so. My nano is fairly sophisticated, if I do say so myself. I had no idea that it could detect life so early. We could make a killing on this tech".

She glanced down at her body and said "Erm. I think it's worked... But I don't feel different, mostly".

I got up and stood in front of her and showed her permanent make up. "Oh... that looks stunning!" she exclaimed, and continued "Are you saying it won't come off or fade?"

Lexi stood and walked a few paces, but, walked wasn't the right term. It looked like she had been born in those shoes and she moved with graceful strides and a gentle sway in her hips. She pivoted and said "It's like wearing a fuzzy pair of bunny slippers, I'm never taking these off!"
