He lowered his fist, his eyes never breaking from hers. "Ivy" he breathed.
She started toward him. He could see tears welling in her eyes and she bit her lip to stop it from wobbling. Slowly Derek climbed to his feet, everyone in the bar had their eyes on him. He didn't care.
"Oh god, what have I done to you. I'm such an idiot." She said, as she stopped in front of him. She dropped her gaze to the floor.
"Ivy" he breathed again. He touched her chin, gently guiding her face back up to him.
"Derek. I'm so sorry. I've been so stupid." She said, a tear rolled down her cheek. "Derek?"
"Ivy." He said, gazing at her with such intensity she could feel his eyes burning into hers.
"Derek, I love you." She said.
Derek's gaze softened, and gave her a sad smile. "You're the only girl for me Ivy." He said.
And with that he lifted her lips to his, leaning down into the most electric kiss he'd ever felt. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him. Shivers ran up his spine and warmth flowed through his lips. His hair was on end, goose bumps rising on his skin and waves of electricity coursed through his body.
He broke the tender kiss. "I'll never let you go Ivy." He said. "Never."

Anonymousover 1 year agoWho would want to marry or even be in a relationship with such a disgusting slut? Perfect quote for her: "No, but I don't care." EXACTLY! This is her personal philosophy. Her reaction to a realization of love is to go fuck another man. Just RUN! As FAST as you can! GET AWAY FROM HER! If you get into a relationship with this woman, you will see this lived out as she fucks you over, just because she doesn't care. She'll fuck whoever she wants. I am absolutely not happy with her getting together with Derek. He will be destroyed by her. She needs to go be a play toy for Heath and his friends. You might say getting drunk was an excuse. It wasn't, as she did it on purpose, because she felt feelings of love for a different man. This is not how real love behaves. Real love considers others. She only loves herself and doesn't care about anyone else. Horrible.
ALFfromMelmacover 6 years agoI love the story, BUT in my eyes IVY has turned into a SLUT! For Heath she was drunk so I can understand that mistake, but Jamison? I don't agree with how the Story went. At the start you did not build her into a prude, but not promiscuous either, she was selective on who she slept with!
Also I think that Derek gave into forgiving Ivy, WAY TOO FAST! Here he was ready to kill his best friend who knew nothing about Derek's relationship with Ivy! But Ivy going in with EYES WIDE OPEN, fucked Derek's best friend AFTER JUST MEETING HIM, and he forgives and declares his love for her!
Chapter 6 should have been longer with Ivy trying to regain her relationship with Derek! While I'm happy they getting together, it was too quickly and I lost respect for Ivy in this chapter!
