Vicky turned to face them. "Gathering biomass."
Barry growled. "Why."
But Vicky had already closed her eyes.
And that was when the adorable, big eyed elks...melted. Their fur shivered and their forms crumpled inwards, flowing together into a slurry of pure white mush. Even Barry cried out in disgust. Beli squeaked, Diamond grabbed for a pistol she didn't have, and Amelia clapped her hands over her mouth in shock. Vicky's hair fanned outwards as she gritted her teeth. Steam hissed from between her arms and she gritted her teeth as she focused hard. Barry started forward - but Ali grabbed his thick wrist, jerking the black man to a stop.
"Don't!" she hissed.
The mass of biological goop flowed...hardened...
A brilliant white light flared.
I pumped my fist.
Leaped.
And opened my eyes slowly as I stepped away from Vicky's cushy breasts. And here's the really fucked up thing. I didn't feel a single bit different. Every single part of my body felt exactly the same. Behind me, Vicky sagged, and I grinned slightly at the stunned onlookers.
"Reports of my death-"

Anonymousover 2 years agoBesides Rinny who he was in direct contact with the whole time, how did the rest of the team seem to know his plan to come back? They responded immediately as if they foresaw it was coming, and Vicky knew to create the body. Was it in that one instant as soon as Rinny opened the portal that he sent a telepathic vision of the plan, or did I miss something?
