Nightshade smiled to herself and wound round a stray building, then shot off into the evening sky. Who knows, she might even owe Dr. Nano some thanks. After she beat the crap out of him and threw him in the clinker, that is.

I'm sometimes not quite sure how I should end my stories. This was written as a short story, but I thought it could work well as a mini-series in which I fully fleshed out Nightshade's transformation and subsequent life as a female superhero. This seemed a bit pat to me.
