"From what you've said this is the exception all the way around."

That was true, this was the first time that her dad had ever mixed any part of the family in his research. If she didn't know better, she would almost wonder if it wasn't her that was the research subject and not the guys.

That would be a laugh, if all this was simply a farce, if so her dad was using a lot of grant money to do it. Grant and personal money, not that her parents couldn't afford it, besides old family money, there were various other investments, and incomes that put both her folks into the high end tax area.
