Hard story to hate on - I usually hate wimps who stay with the whore but a kid with cancer changes things. BUT she should have told him when the boss brought it up and then taped him and sued for harrassmentmore...

You handled it well, or as well as you could... but really it would be hard to remain together when she did what she did so often and in secret.

I liked the story

Most of the carping on the story are sort of valid, the key is the hospital costs. People do loose their house and declare bankruptcy over inability to pay medical bills, so that is a real worry. Besides that, if you can't pay, do you get the best hospitals and the best doctors? Or maybe there is only one protocol for your cancer, and everybody follows it? In any case it is the premise for the story, and if it requires suspension of belief, so don't bitch, most stories have one or more such suspensions.
So the wife's whoring for her company's clients. I suspect this is more common in LE than real life, but what do I know. If you accept the need money at any cost, then all else follows logically. Mothers will famously do anything to save their children, fathers...are perhaps less singe minded. If faced with saving a viable child at childbirth, or saving my wife, I suspect my choice and my wife's choice would have been different.
No parent with any brains would tell a child the reasons for the split. That was another suspension of belief. Better to have left that out, or have the kid eavesdropped on the adults. Authors ought to try to think their way around such problems.
At the end, with all the Video stuff, that was over the top as well with no purpose. The wife's video was sufficient. On the other hand, the recorder in the purse was an original master stroke to break the dilemma that "She would say that, wouldn't she."

The wife's handing him her head on a platter was also very good plotting. In a sense he can't punish her further, because she had already done it. It would have convinced me, I think.

All in all and excellent story

Forgot to add the BIGGEST problem that had me disliking the story.

The cunt tells her 14 year old that just got home from cancer that she was a whore to pay the kids bills!!

What the fuck moron tells that to their kid? A kid hearing that is liable to slit her wrists out of guilt.
