They rode long and hard in effort to get home before the next dawn. Novak said little to Talyis but knew she was in pain from their arduous journey. He knew she would hide it within her to hide to prove to her pride. Her hair floated about him, bringing her sweet aroma to his nose as they rode. His body was tense with anticipation and hope that they possibly could co-exist in a sense of harmony with each other. He had debated for hours, but quickly decided to gently kiss the back of her head; he wondered if she noticed. He hoped none of his men had noticed.
Finally, his body relaxed in victory as he reached the gates to his village. Their horses snorted in elation to be home as were their owners. It was deep night and many of the small homes were dark. Talyis looked around at the village, her new home. They rode on and the sounds of laughter and song sliced the silent cool air. They approached a tavern leaking light onto the dirt path; the building's seams seemed to swell with activity in the dark. The men congratulated each other softly as they jumped off their horses and entered the small shack. Novak removed his armor and placed it on the wagon as Gareth helped Talyis down from the horse.
The three entered the pub to join the band. Laughter penetrated the air as men and women sang and drank. She couldn't help but to stare at fair skin and sharp angled faces of the almost extinct Aricin people. Men cheered and greeted Novak happily addressing him as their lord and prince. A large mug was given to him and a toast was commencing to commemorate the return of the band.
A woman's squeal broke over the voices and tides of people were shoved aside as a voluptuous, red haired woman ran towards them. Her face was as red as her fire curly hair that scattered about her in mad dash towards them. Her huge smile of teeth, arms outstretched as her hips and breasts bounced joyfully she ran smack into Gareth. Gareth grunted but hardly lost his stature when her arms slapped around him in a huge hug.
"Gareth, my love!" She cried and Gareth pulled her close to him and beamed down at his beloved Delia.

Anonymousabout 9 years agobit confused about taylis sore and hurting to them getting it on, she's either too hurt to do anything, or he's hurting her still.
the for novak to say he understood she sore from days travelling on the horse. That's not why she's sore and hurt but from the gang rape
she cant be miraculously cured. Im saying you've built up this picture about her physical hurt then she seems to be willing to get it on, that's not real. I hink the love/forgiveness developing needs to take longer than a romp on the shore, let it build longer not rush it
Anonymousover 11 years agoWell, a lot of the previous comments express my sentiments exactly. This is an unrealistic turn of events. This story successfully can piss off most readers (which is quite hard as I find that Literotica readers are some of the most open minded people out there). I loved the beginning of the chapter as I was certain that Talys killed or drugged or both, all of his men and then ran away, raising her allies to decimate these a*holes forever. Honestly if the guy got so upset because an 8 year old girl teased him over 10 years ago, then he totally deserves to be killed or castrated or both. It's so difficult to salvage this as a romance when the main male character elicits such negative emotional response. Maybe you should re-write this story. On a different note, kiddos on raising such heated comments on this story. The hardest thing is to rouse people's attention, whether its for good or bad. At the very least, your story is not forgettable.
Anonymousover 11 years agoI can't continue reading this, the gang bang scene was frankly disgusting and unforgivable for Novaks character. No actions or words will ever redeem him for what he did to Taylis. Also Taylis's emotional reaction the day after makes no sense whatsoever. She's just been BRUTALLY RAPED BY HIM AND HIS MEN and acts like nothing has happened. Sorry but now it's my time to leave, you had a great start but now this story is making me feel sick and is grating on my nerves.
Anonymousover 13 years agosighs i just cannot get over chpt 4. there was nothing romantic nor forgivable about it. And the fact that she's cautious about him....to eventually love him is particularly disturbing. Otherwise your story thus far has been quite well done.
