Beware, beware, angels on blackest of wings

their blood red eyes see naught but chaos

of terror they are masters, of destruction they are kings

beware, beware, the Dark Angels of Chaos - old proverb

Sabrina NoName sighed just before lighting her cigarette with a small flame on her finger, nude as the day she was born as she leaned against a wooden railing, her long blonde hair a tangled and sweaty mess. Well, at least she could light her cigarettes and anything else she smoked, but that was it in terms of magic for her. Other than that, she was just another weak-blood in the world that was so easily stepped on.

Regardless of the bright, sunny, and warm atmosphere with a gentle cooling breeze, the last tidbits of spring before summer came scorching in, yet Sabrina found herself unable to enjoy any of it.

The pain continued to pulse from her swollen anus, which had just got done being violated for the first time. She knew that this day would come, but perhaps the most humiliating and painful part of it all is that this event took place on her seventeenth birthday. Happy fucking birthday, washout weak-blood, the final sanctity you have left has finally been taken from you.

It was her fault after all, having walked out the door at the age of eleven, a naive child who thought the world would be a kinder place, one that she could work her way through and start a new and better life, only to discover the world that really existed out here.

Sabrina had no chance, not having much in the way of magic to defend herself or help herself get recognized or acknowledged in any way, and naive to top it all off. She was easily baited and caught, just another NoName plucked off the streets that no one knew of or remembered.

At first, she was just a young slave, then after a few years quickly became recognized as a young sex slave, and thus became what she was today. A nameless, faceless, NoName sex slave, servant to others for life. A life in a ruthless Confinement with bars of a different kind of cold steel. One far more powerful, stronger, and colder than any other bar in any Confinement, and those were the cold bars that imprisoned the heart.

What made that prison even more powerful was that it was one that she had created herself, to try and keep it from feeling pain, hope, any sort of emotion. Thank the Dragons that the Techs had perfected the fine art of drugs, and the underground world Sabrina lived in loved using drugs to control their slaves.

That was in the form of the bottle of pills next to her arm on the wooden railing she was leaning on as her blue eyes looked on into the relatively nice and green backyard with a blooming tree with bright purple colors.

Yet despite the relatively nice view outside, she could feel little but indifference to the scenery as she blew a steady stream of smoke into the bright day. It was just getting more and more difficult to even appreciate the little things, especially when her insides were burning as they were.

If there was one little thing that she would really appreciate, was that whatever conversation her current 'master' and his friend were having would take enough time that she could smoke two cigarettes, another little item the Techs invented that Sabrina was grateful for. Maybe she should be more thankful of her position, for it could be even worse, as low as her life seems. She could be deathly ill, homeless, deformed, not having drugs, not having food and so on. So there were things to be grateful for...yet, it was still getting harder to do.

And she couldn't escape it either. She had tried, three or four years ago when she started becoming a sex slave, having tried to put a knife to her throat, wanting to ensure the end. But it never happened, for she had done so in haste, and had been caught before she could begin. For that, she had been beaten and tied up to a bed for days, forcibly fed through her mouth while she was 'utilized', which of course included beatings along with the rides of pleasure, rides Sabrina had been forced to ride. She had never dared try again.

She heard the door open behind her, and cursed her luck. Fucking figures, for she knew along the lines of what he was going to say.

"Hurry up and finish that. I want to get another round in before we go out tonight and I want you to be presentable, so I'll be expecting a good wash for both of us afterward, as well as a good grooming."

Sabrina suppressed any form of protest that she wanted to give, whether it was a sigh or even rolling her eyes. She had been well trained, and well beaten when she didn't follow her training.

Instead she turned, smiled, and bowed. "Thank you sir for allowing me to finish."

"Good, I'll see you in the bedroom. I'll lube up so all you'll need to do is sit your tight, cute little ass on my dick and ride away."

"Yes sir, I look forward to being filled up with that magnificent cock of yours." Sabrina answered with a smile, and he turned and went back inside.

Sabrina turned to stare at the backyard once more, fighting her urge to cry. At least he didn't know it was her birthday today. That was perhaps the only consolidation she had as she finished her cigarette and went back inside, bracing herself for the coming pain.

Home. Despite having only lived here in for a few months now, Aegis still couldn't help but feel a sense of pride at it. Apartments were a thing of the past, and not a part of their new life in Templar.

It hadn't been easy either. When they first came to Templar three years ago they moved into another apartment with the money they had saved which had bought them enough time to find the jobs they currently have. It was at the beginning of the year with a raise or two that they discovered that they could afford to get and live in a small house just for them, and so the move was made.

The house itself wasn't that big, a single floor three bedroom house with a bathroom, kitchen, and living room. No storage space aside from the attic, and not much in the way of property. But, it was a home, their home.

The move from Pirus to Templar had gone even better than Aegis had expected. Their ability with magic had always been high, much higher than what was considered normal, and now that was starting to show as they finally got a chance to get real jobs with better pay.

Angelus got a job in the water business, filling up tanks of water for private use or for the government. He was annoyed that he didn't do anything else but fill up tanks of water, but because of his output, he was well paid.

Azreal stayed in the culinary business, but was now a small time chef in his own right, and Aegis himself has witnessed Azreal's cooking as the topic of conversation at the restaurant he worked at. (After all, it was legendary among the three of them, Aegis had been curious on how others thought of it.)

Aegis himself became a manager in a local one money convenience store, though also took martial arts classes on the side. (As soon as he did, Angelus followed suit, with Angelus determined to surpass Aegis. That hasn't quite worked out for Angelus.)

They had about ten steps around the house in all directions for a yard, and that was about it. Aegis saw that his two flower gardens on either side of the path leading to the house were looking good, which had begun blooming with a bright purple and red. Bees were floating around the flowers as well, and Aegis made a mental note to watch out for possible nests somewhere on or inside the house since their numbers seemed to be increasing.

Bees had already caused them problems last month when there used to be two flower pots that had hung from the ceiling and were nearby the front door that hung at just above head level. Angelus walks out one early morning, stretched his arms and accidentally struck the flower pot. A few seconds later, three bees attacked Angelus, stinging him a total number of seven times. After his struggle against the bees which he won, Angelus completely raged out by pulling down both flower parts and setting them ablaze right in the front lawn, and Azreal had to restrain him by force to keep him from burning both flower gardens in the same manner.

But if bees start getting inside the house, the flowers will never survive another day, something Angelus has openly declared if he gets attacked by bees again.

Aegis opened the door to their home, and walked in. The setup to the house was rather simple. To the immediate right is the living room, where there was a couch with a nightstand up against the wall, a large circular glass table with three chairs scattered around it, and scattered candles that were built into the walls. Adjacent to the living room was both the dining room and kitchen. The dining room possessed a simple wooden table with three wood chairs, unlike the cushion chairs that were in the living room, and the kitchen contained the standards, a cold storage container, a cooking container, a cooking counter, and scattered cabinets which almost completely filled all sections of the wall in the kitchen.

"I'm home!" He called out as he walked in and closed the door behind him, and noticed that there was a pleasant smell of food in the air, and heard the sounds of someone cooking.

"Sup! I'm making meatloaf tonight, but I still haven't gotten the potatoes peeled yet, mind giving me a hand?" Azreal called out, and Aegis headed to the kitchen.

"What's the occasion?" Aegis asked as he walked in, seeing an elaborate display of pots on the cooking counter which were steaming, as well as a batch of potatoes with an empty container next to the batch. Aegis walked over and began peeling the potatoes.

"Well, I hadn't really realized it until this morning, but all three of us have off tomorrow right? I figure that I cook tonight, and later the three of us can go out somewhere together, just the three of us. When is the last time we've all gone out together?" Azreal asked.

Aegis shrugged. "Personally, I don't enjoy going out, but I suppose it's true that we don't spend as much time together as we used to with our mismatched schedules. If Angelus is up for it, then I'll join you guys this evening. Where is he anyway, is he not home yet?"

"He was, but I sent him out an a liquor run for me, I figure I'll get a few drinks in me before we go. He's already agreed to go out tonight, as well as some pregaming. How about joining us?"

"Depends, if Angelus picks up beer, I'll drink a little. I'd rather not start at a strong pace." That was another concern of Aegis' recently. Azreal's drinking has really begun to spike, and regardless of the general consensus that he was a friendly and fun drunk, it was becoming a concern for Aegis.

Especially since Aegis has secretly caught Azreal taking shots before heading out to work three times last month. Aegis had watched Azreal ever since the first time Aegis had caught him, and had noticed that Azreal does not do it often. The first interval was around two weeks, something that really didn't concern Aegis. The interval between the second and third however was much shorter, a five day difference. That was the day before yesterday, and if it continues at that kind of pace, Aegis was going to have to step in.

Aegis had already planned for this, knowing that the signs had all been there since the rather unpleasant Danica situation. Budget had been tight at the time, and Aegis successfully forced Azreal to hand over almost all of the money Azreal would make in their move here to Templar, but the signs were there. Every opportunity he got to drink, he had taken it, and his depression had made his desire to drink stronger despite the fact that he did not drink much at the time. He was mentally addicted to the appeal and escape it presented, and now that it was readily available here with decent spending money and a small house that they owned, that mental addiction might now become a physical one.

Azreal shrugged. "Suit yourself."

It didn't help that most of Azreal's opportunities in drinking came from Henry, an individual Aegis had learned to not like at all. Unfortunately, Azreal was no longer at an age where Aegis could decide who Azreal associated himself with, even if it is those of questionable character.

Silence had settled in while they prepared dinner together when they heard the front door open.

"Yo! That shit better be ready for the fucking bullshit I just had to deal with!" Angelus called out, the backpack on his back rattling with glass and quite full.

"What's wrong Angelus? Poor baby had to wait in line for a couple of minutes?" Azreal mocked from the kitchen.

"That shit ain't done yet!?" Angelus asked as he emerged in the kitchen.

"Chill out, or you aren't getting anything. Unless you want it to taste like shit, get the drinks out, go sit down, and have a nice cup of shut the fuck up."

"Fuck you Azreal! Go out and get mugged by a couple of idiots and see how you feel afterwards!"

That caught both their attention. "You got mugged?" Azreal asked, ready to break out in a hysterical fit. He knew pretty much how something like that would go.

"Yeah, fucking two steps out of the liquor store and these three idiots stop me and tell me to hand the shit I just fucking bought over. I tell them to fuck off and walk away, like you said I should do, right Aegis? But no, not these guys, nooo, instead they get in my fucking way and tell me to drop my shit. I said fuck no and told them I was gonna kick their ass if they didn't get away from me. They didn't believe me and the three fuckers jumped me. Needless to say, I kicked the shit out of all three of them, but the fuckers managed to break the bottles and a few of the beer cans I had just fucking bought."

"I go back inside, now, this guy had wide open windows, there's no way he missed what just happened, so I go back and ask if I can get a break. You know what he fucking said? 'No fucking returns!' His exact fucking words! I almost blew up right there and torched his store, but I remained calm and paid for the fucking broken shit out of my own fucking pocket. So here's your fucking alcohol." Angelus said as he placed his backpack on the counter and began emptying it's contents into the storage container.

"Damn man, all that while out on a liquor run? You have some of the worst luck sometimes. How much do I owe for the broken bottles? I'll pay for that if you want."

"I forget. Forty or Fifty five? Something like that."

"What!?"

"The fuckers broke just about all of them."

Azreal sighed. "That is some bullshit."

"You tellin me."

"Nothing happened, did it?" Aegis asked.

"No, of course not! I merely kicked the shit out of them. Maybe broke a few bones, but that's about it. Turns out they were nothing more than pansies. I actually felt a little sorry about beating the shit out of them, until I found out the bottles were crushed. Then I spat on each of them for good measure."

Azreal shook his head, but he was smiling. "Well, at least you fucked them up."

"So, how much longer?" Angelus asked.

"Not much longer now, you got the final ingredient." Azreal said as he pulled one of the bottles that Angelus emptied out, got himself a shot glass and gave himself a shot, which he downed, then proceeded to lightly coat the meatloaf with the liquor he had just taken a shot out of.

"Seriously, I have got to ask, does the alcohol really need to be mixed in?" Angelus asked.

Azreal nodded. "You'd be surprised. I've done some taste tests myself. It's not anything life changing, but, it does add that little bit of extra flavor if you know what to use and how to use it. Took me some time to learn, but I'm getting the general idea now."

Angelus made a 'I don't believe you for one fucking minute' face while Aegis raised an eyebrow.

"If you don't believe me, then let's sit down one night and have a taste test. After that, neither of you will be able to say shit. Wait, what am I even saying? You two know how good my cooking is in the first place, so who are you two to even ask?"

Chirp. Chirp. Chirp.

"Point taken." Aegis answered.

"I'm gonna go sit down, let me know when it's done." Angelus said as he began walking away

"No, no, you're gonna sit here and we're gonna pregame while we wait."

"What else did you get Angelus? I won't be taking shots." Aegis asked.

"Azreal already figured you wouldn't, wuss, so I got some Heids for you."

Aegis gave Azreal a look, who shrugged his shoulders in response. "Am I wrong? You're always a wuss when it comes to drinking. Someday, I'm gonna get you so wasted that you'll turn into a slobbering mess, and it will be the funniest thing in the world ever." Azreal declared.

"As funny as the time that you tried to run naked into the streets screaming about the cows of Nirvana?" Aegis shot back.

Angelus nearly busted a gut laughing, and Azreal went quiet. "Very funny Aegis." He grumbled.

Dinner went well, as did the pregame. (The pregame went a little too well for Angelus, however, and both Aegis and Azreal had to convince him to slow down a little.) The sun was down by the time they stepped outside, with Azreal leading the way. Azreal led them to Maloney's, a relatively popular nightclub which Azreal had heard about from his job and had visited before himself.

Upon entering, Aegis immediately discovered that this was not the kind of atmosphere he liked. It was crowded, filled with both noise and other people, both of them indistinguishable masses piled together in such a seemingly tiny space. Cheers, laughter, arguments, one could hear it all by just sitting and listening to it, all of them drowning each other out.

Maloney's was actually more on the larger side, and just seemed small because of how crowded it was. There was enough room for plenty of sets of tables to be scattered about, dart boards, pool tables, and even card tables, all of which were filled with activity. At the end was a long bar, which stretched from wall to wall.

"Alright guys, tonight, I've decided that I'm gonna help you two find yourselves a good lay. But I need you guys to be good wingmen and let me lead, alright?"

Aegis glared at Azreal. "I am not partaking in that escapade."

"Aegis, seriously, dude, you wouldn't even have to do anything. The girls I work with still talk about how hot you are and want to know when you're planning on coming back for another visit. All I need you to do is sit there, look pretty, and put out just enough to get the girls to roll in the palms of your hands. In fact, you could probably make them horny just by staring at them and not say anything."

"No. If I knew this was gonna happen, I would have just stayed home. I'll be at the bar." Aegis declared as he walked off.

"Aegis! Don't be a dick! Angelus, help me out here!" Azreal said as he turned to Angelus, who shrugged.

"Don't look at me, I didn't come here to deal with women either, I'm here to get drunk."

Azreal sighed as his head fell. "You guys fucking suck. Fine, I'll hang out with you guys for a while since both of you want to be dicks. But, I am going hunting later on." Azreal said as he followed Angelus and together found Aegis at the bar. Despite the loud atmosphere, however, their drink time at the bar was a quiet one, and somewhat brief as Azreal spotted a girl of interest and headed in her direction while Angelus made his way over to the darts and pool tables and most likely lose horribly to whoever he played against.
