Steve remembered where he was and what had happened and quickly moved Veronique's hand and did his trousers up. They got their belongings and he jumped down from the train then turned to take their bags and help her down. As he lowered her to the floor, he pulled her to him and they kissed passionately until the rail worker said 'There's a time and a place for that sir and madam, you'll be at the hotel in half an hour, can you please do that there?'
Veronique giggled and said 'How embarrassing! He thinks we're together!'
Steve replied 'Aren't we?'
She looked at him and said 'I guess we are tonight...I hope its a nice hotel with an en suite bathroom and a big double bed.'
And they held each others hand as they made their way alongside the tracks to the train waiting for them.
