She offered him coffee, he declined. She offered him a glass of wine, or a beer. He declined that too and she said it was good, she didn't have them anyway. They sat quietly. She knew he was trying to look at her in the negligee but not get caught. She leaned back and moved her legs so that it was all that much harder not to look. He wasn't hot. He was shorter than she expected. He had short dark curly hair and bushy eyerbows. He clearly had shaved reently but would need to again quickly. He was really quite ordinary looking and she thought he was delightful.

"I'm broken. You read the book. I still really feel that way."

"I'm broken too." I was still angry but the truth was, I was in love. "I'm a slut who's never had a boyfriend."

"I um, I could be your boyfriend. I just like, it would be hard. I think about it all the time. I love, I love that you are..."

"A slut?"

"Um, so, yeah. I, I love that about it."

"It's just kind of who I am. I mean. I could stop."

"What if we don't stop anything. What if we just be the same, but like, be together."

"Can we stop talking now and go to bed?" Of all the things I wanted right then, I did not want to negotiate some future that neither of us could possibly know.

"Um, yeah. I mean, yeah! Really?"

I went to him. I undressed him. I think he was trembling as badly as I was. "You are shit at spelling, you know."

"I know!" Nude, pressing his body against my purple gown I finally kissed him. We laid back on the bed and I closed my eyes as his hands moved over my legs and back.

"David. Gentle, please. At least to start."

"Of course."

"I mean, when I say I've never had a boyfriend you get what I mean, right. That I mean I haven't..."

"Shh. Ill be gentle." His lips and teeth explored my neck as I wrapped my legs around his narrow hips. "You know, you are probably the worst slut ever."

I smiled and pulled him to me. I was going to be a much better slut from now on.
