Three Square Meals Ch. 029

"It's a long story," Jade said with a wry smile. "Come and meet us out of the asteroid field, we need to get Dana and John back on the Invictus."

"I'll be right there!" the Latina nodded, her concerned face disappearing from the view screen as she ended the call.

The Invictus moved swift and sure through hyper-warp, the tachyon field speeding them across the sector at an incredible velocity. They were headed back to Ashana now, their mission done. John was laid out flat on his back in the middle of the bed, slumbering peacefully, his torso wrapped in a fresh trauma kit. The girls were curled up on the bed, all of them except for Calara fast asleep, with Alyssa curled up protectively behind Dana, who's bandage wrapped arm rested lightly on her hugely rounded belly.

Calara could hardly believe what the other's had been up to on their jaunt into the battleship. She had listened avidly as Alyssa had filled her in on the misbegotten boarding action, while Jade had lovingly emptied John's balls while he lay propped up in bed, running his hand through her dark green hair. Calara had never seen John looking so weary and so badly injured, and it worried her terribly, but he'd insisted that Dana get topped up to heal her broken arm. As soon as Jade was done, he'd fallen straight to sleep, and then they'd gathered around to watch the Nymph feed the bruised and battered redhead.

Feeling inexplicably tired herself, Calara yawned and stretched, before curling up behind Jade. From the stories she'd been told, it sounded like the beautiful dark green alien girl had really saved the day. Calara had been thinking of a way to thank the Nymph for saving her in the first Drakkar boarding action, and she had come up with an idea how to do it. She knew the others would love to see as well, especially after Jade had come to their rescue now too! The Latina yawned again and snuggled up against her friend, before dropping off into a dreamless slumber.
