Then run those papers over to Reverend Atherton's ministry. He needs to sign them before five. You may have to wait for him to finish his broadcast."
Carrie grimaced with barely controlled frustration. "If you don't mind me asking, ma'am, what do you intend to do?"
Morgana answered musically, "It's best you don't know. But trust me, Carrie, the hand of God is guiding this. Remember his words: 'I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers', in this case: daughters, ' And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.'"
Morgana was laughing gaily when she hung up the phone.
