TIAMAT
When I woke, it was onboard the Tiamat.
My arm had a sheath over it. No. No. It wasn't my arm. It was the stump. My stomach wanted to roil. I wanted to be horrified. Instead, I simply felt deadened inside. I saw lines of drugs running into me, and the med corset around my chest. Mal was slumbering in the corner, while Rossck paced, and Techne sat beside me, looking concerned. She let out a little silver smile.
"Hey, Hegemony," she murmured.
I tried to speak. My lips felt numb. "Buhh?"
"No idea how you spoofed them," Techne murmured, reaching out to cup my cheek. "But the Hydra navy and security team registered you as a Hegemonic Knight with special papers. Sent you right back to your ship after doing stabilization."
I blinked, then licked my lips. I hadn't done anything. That seemed terribly important.
My eyes closed.
I'd think about it...later...
I felt soft, cold lips on my forehead and I smiled.
I'd tell Thale about my victory next dream.
Next dream.
