He ran a lazy hand up and down her back and kissed the top of her head. "Stay with me tonight?"
She nodded and kissed his shoulder, the only movement she felt she had the strength to do.
As his eyes drifted closed he heard her soft voice. "I missed you Ryan."
"I missed you too baby."
She yawned softly and nestled closer against his chest, the next time she spoke she was almost asleep. "I love you."
He smiled, happier than he had been since the last time he had seen her. "I love you too kiddo." He listened to her soft innocent breathing as she drifted off to sleep in his arms. "I love you too."
