Tormented Ch. 16

"It's going to be OK Luce, I promise."

A loud knock on the door made them jump and he leapt from the bed, pulling his jeans on he opened the door and saw Ryan and Lily coming down the stairs, Lucy dressed quickly in her silk nightdress and came to stand behind him.

"I'm guessing you're not expecting anyone?" Ryan asked before sighing. "Stay here." He and Aaron walked to the door and pulled it open, three people stood there. A tall red haired man with sharp green eyes held up a white haired man, Ryan looked at the Demon feeling a sense of dread in his stomach. A young girl stood on the other side of the Demon and he scented the air, she smelt different, she was part Demon but the rest he was unsure of. She had long black hair that fell in a shining wave down to her waist and white eyes and black pupils, her skin was pale and she wore black leggings, a white t-shirt and black trainers.

"Ryan who is it?" Lily came down the stairs and looked over the three people stood at her door.

"Lilith?" The girl spoke, her voice held an exotic accent and Lily frowned.

"How do you know my name? Who are you?"

The girl stepped forward. "I'll tell you everything but first please, you need to help my brother." Her eyes pleaded with them and they could see her desperation.

Lucy beckoned them in. "Bring him through here," the red haired man helped the Demon through to the living room and laid him on the sofa, the rest followed them through and Lily looked to the strange girl, she was a head taller than Lily and looked down into the Demons warm dark eyes.

"I hear you have Angels after you?" The girl spoke and Lily nodded in confusion.

"How do you know that? Who are you?"

The girl took a knife from a holster on her thigh. "I'm Daida and right now, if you want to survive this war, I'm the best chance you've got."
