I turned the other way. I couldn't look at him. Had he really said that? Maybe I was hearing things. And again, if he did say it could have been the sex taking over his brain. He did have a few beers. Maybe it was that. He didn't love me. He stopped loving me a long time ago.
He climbed onto the bed beside me. Surprisingly he didn't turn me to face him. Instead he wrapped both of his arms around me held me to him. I reached for his hand and entangled his fingers with mine. We lay like this for a very long time.
When I finally decided I needed to leave, he insisted on walking me to my car. He opened the door for me. I went to get in, but instead turned around and put my arms around his waist. I hugged him tight. He tilted my head up for me to kiss him. This was risky, but I did it. I had to. I didn't know when I'd see him again. I broke the kiss, and climbed into my car without saying goodbye. I didn't want to say the word because my heart would break just hearing it. He understood.
As he walked away I got out my phone and saw I had a few missed texts. One was from my Mom.
'Giles died from fever. Husband came back. She didn't go with him. The end. You suck at picking romantic movies. But TRUE LOVE STILL PREVAILS! lol'
I laughed in spite of myself as tears streamed down my face.
True love still prevails.
With that thought, I decided there was just one more text I needed to send tonight.
'Hey, babe. Just leaving Mom's to head home. See you in a few. Love you.'

Yes, thank you very much. Not non-con, but me non-complain - got to read it. Very happy.
Amoral and primal
Very raw and powerful - stripped of human sensibility. Like watching a train wreck. Strong style. *****
