"We should run, far away. And something about staying away from the southern hemisphere of our world."

"I shiver at the thought that there are more of Xevex' kind being around," Jendayi said. She locked eyes with Dorgon. "And you seem to be at ease around this kind of magic." She indicated the room.

"It is no more magic than the weapon Xevex had tossed into the arena yesterday," Dorgon said. "This is some kind of incredibly advanced technology."

"Can you ...use it?" Jendayi asked, her eyes suddenly aglow with inspiration.

"No idea. I understand it when I see it. Or not."

"Come with me. I want to show you something." She turned to leave the bloodied chamber.

Intrigued, he followed her, along the quiet, empty corridors. He expected alarms to go off, hordes of guards converging on them. But it was quiet, deathly so. The first rays of the first sun pierced the deep violet of the sky, visible through the narrow, tall windows connecting floors and ceilings. Jendayi led him purposefully, into a tall, narrow shaft. She placed her hand on a button and the floor suddenly moved, pushing them upwards. Faster and faster they went until Dorgon feared they would end as dark stains on the ceiling, high overhead. He realized they were in one of the huge spires, towering impossibly high over Atlantis. Through another window, this one small and circular, he could see all the way to the sea.

Jendayi took his hand and tugged. Dorgon tore his gaze from the immeasurable azure plain surrounding the island and followed her. Into a huge hall she went. Banners hung from the walls, adorned with Xevex' insignia. And in the midst of the hall it stood, like a huge, golden beetle perched upon spindly legs. Wings jutted away from a droplet-shaped central structure. It looked sleek. Fast. And someone stood next to the thin ladder leading into the thing's interior. Sirra.

Her purple robes wide open, blood spatters defacing the elegant curls on her breasts and legs, she crossed the space between them, casually hefting a sword not unlike Dorgon's, the slender honey-gold blade stained crimson.

Dorgon raised his weapon, taking a step forward to shield Jendayi with his massive body.

Sirra raised her hands. "I'm not here to fight. On the contrary. I wish to offer my services to the former Empress." Her gaze slithered down Dorgon's body. "Or to the both of you." Her smile took on a life of its own, leaving little doubt as to the kind of services she was offering.

"What are you doing here?" Dorgon growled.

"I have been flown across the empire several times from this hall. I figured once you were done with his Highness, you would come here. Seems I was right." She tossed the sword aside, the weapon skittered along the polished floor and disappeared somewhere in the shadows.

"Now, can someone fly this thing?" Sirra asked, turning to inspect the golden construct dominating the hall.

Dorgon peered into himself. The knowledge was there. Which buttons to press. Which ...sticks to move. How to read the round screens and navigate using the on-board calculation engines. This thing could even leave this world behind entirely, sailing through the vast oceans of space. With this machine, no man could hold him.

Jendayi melted against him, her hands cupping his naked buttocks, smoothing the cool fabric of her dress against his scaled flesh. "Would you like to become a king, Dorgon?"

"Huh?" Her voice, the pressure of her body, tore him back into the present.

"With Xevex gone, Atlantis' grip will weaken. I intend to return home, to reclaim my throne." One hand slithered between them, caressing his rod. He stirred under her fingers. "I will need help."

Sirra joined them. She had shrugged out of her robes somewhere along the way, her hot body another rousing sensation against his naked skin. Almost of its own accord, his arm went around her waist, pulling her close. Her breasts heaved against him. "You shall have mine, if you want it," Sirra whispered, offering her lips for a kiss. Jendayi pulled her in as well.

Dorgon closed his eyes. He was an arm's length away from freedom. All he had to do was climb aboard the golden scarabus and pick a destination. But he no longer was the man he once was. Xevex had taken his previous life and turned him into a abomination. Hard scales and impossible strength. Knowledge no man should have and a monstrous appearance. He always would be an outcast, unless someone could see past his deformities.

He opened his eyes, his gaze finding Jendayi's. Her eyes shimmered in a mesmerizing jade, her pupils flecked with gold. She didn't seem to mind. In fact, her soft gyrations in his embrace and Sirra's irreverent dirty grin hinted at a whole lot of excitement in the not too distant future.

I might as well.

The End.

Mud and Magic took over his time as well as the two geek pride events. Attempts were made but didn't feel right. Currently on the back burner.

@ToxicAtom

That was exactly the point. :)

Besides, despite all the crap Dorgon has to deal with, he's still bright enough to realize that sulking in a cave alone somewhere won't help either. Since they're offering, why not?

Even though no one asked yet, there is a sequel in the works.
