Click hereThe Command Assassin cursed inwardly. He knew that he shouldn't have been such a fool, but he hadn't been able to help himself. The woman was simply too attractive and too willing for him to turn down. It didn't hurt that she had a nice body either. He shook those thoughts from his head and he raised his eyes to the Star Elf standing across from them, looking between the two of them with a suspicious look on his face. It was like he suspected them of something, but what, he didn't know.
The female Star Elf bit her bottom lip, looking small and vulnerable. However, he knew better than that. She was a warrior, and if there was one thing that warrior's weren't, it was vulnerable. She could handle a blade, and if she could handle a blade, she could handle an awkward situation like this one.
"He asked a question and I answered it." Rachel replied with no deception in her voice. If he hadn't known any better and if he hadn't been able to sense that deception, he would've believed her. She was believable and he felt a small smile begin to blossom on his face, but he curbed the impulse. "He wanted to know about the runes on the trees of the Jungle."
The Warrior Lord didn't look like he believed her, but without any way to disprove what she said, he would have to believe her. Acheron stared at the man and raised a brow, daring him to call her a liar. The Warrior Lord looked at him, his annoyance ratcheting up another level, but he didn't outright deny what she'd said. Instead, he nodded his head once and turned away from them, but he didn't walk away right away. He stood in place for a second and then looked over his shoulder back at them.
"You will do well to keep up with us." Acre replied, his voice warning them both and they both knew it. Then, Acre turned back around and he walked away. His heavy boot steps made no noise as he moved across the Jungle floor and he still found that amazing, but he didn't say anything. Instead, he turned to look at the Star Elf at his side, nodding his head and she nodded back at him.
Then, the two of them made their way after Acre.

Acheron sat at the small table, his legs crossed under it and he waited for dinner to be brought to him. Despite his misgivings about it, he'd decided to go to Rachel's for dinner anyway. He didn't know exactly what was going to happen between them, but he'd decided to relax for a little while. He couldn't always be on edge or he'd end up shattering and going crazy. He couldn't let that happen.
He stared around the small hut and took in its features. It was much smaller than the palace, consisting of only one room for everything. There was a small table in front of him where they were to eat and drink. There was a small cot covered in linen to serve as a bed in the corner and on the far side of the room was where one got their food from for the meal.
That was where Rachel was at this time. She was crouched down in front of the bin of food and she was pulling some slowly out, dropping it on the two plates she had by her feet. He saw saw slabs of deer meat as well as some sort of long cut potato that was already cooked and green beans that took up the rest of the plate. After she was through gathering up the food, she picked up the two plates, straightened, and walked over to the table.
The Chaos Demon watched her walk, her hips swaying with each step and drawing his gaze to those hips. His eyes were drawn to her legs, flexing and unflexing as she walked. Watching this caused all the blood in his brain to rush south and cause his cock to become stiff once more.
He closed his eyes briefly, trying to banish his lustful thoughts, but he couldn't seem to manage it. No matter how hard he attempted to tell himself that he hadn't come here to have sex, he knew better. The Elven woman had practically thrown herself on him in the Jungle and invited him to dinner. He'd come to her home, knowing full well what she intended towards him.
"Here is your dinner, sir." Rachel said in a soft, lust filled voice as she bent at the waist and placed the plate in front of him. However, he didn't take notice of that, but he did take notice of her breasts. When she'd taken off her armor earlier, it had revealed the low cut black top underneath and the large amount of cleavage the top showed. Now that she was bent at the waist in front of him, he could see those breasts perfectly and all he wanted to do was reach out to touch them.
He didn't know how he did it, but he somehow managed to resist doing so. Instead, he nodded his head and lifted his gaze to her's, smiling at her. She smiled back at him, the look on her face one of coyness, obviously knowing what she'd been doing and unashamed of it. If she knew how badly she affected him, he would be in trouble.
"Thank you." Acheron replied in a kind voice and he lowered his eyes to the plate of food in front of him. Somehow, the food all looked warm and steaming. It looked quite delicious and he couldn't wait to start eating, but he decided to wait for the hostess to start first. It was her food after all and he shouldn't start eating without her. That would just be rude of him.
He watched her closely as she sat her own plate down and she sat down at the table across from him. She crossed her long legs under the table, her knees brushing his. At the contact, he looked up and directly into her eyes. He found that she was already staring back at him and the look in her gray eyes told him that she'd intended to make contact with him.
The Chaos Demon smiled and picked up one of the long strips of potato. It was hot and burning his fingertips, but he could manage it no problem. He raised it to his lips and opened his mouth, taking a bite of the potato strip. He tasted the potato and he nearly moaned out in pleasure of the sweetness of the food in his mouth.
The Command Assassin hadn't expected the food to taste so good, but it did. He also didn't know how it was that it was hot when it had been in several different boxes of food under her washing basin. However, it felt and tasted like it had been fully cooked. He closed his eyes as he took another bite and he savored the taste of the potato, enjoying the taste very much.
Pushing the last of the potato into his mouth, he chewed eagerly even as he picked up the other strip and waited until after he'd swallowed the first one before he took a bite of the next one. He didn't notice that the Star Elf was watching him with interest, a slight smile on her face. She hadn't even touched her food yet she was so lost in watching him eat his own food.
Before he knew it, he'd cleaned his plate completely and he stared at the empty plate. He blinked a couple of times, surprised that he was already done. He was also surprised that he was already filled up and didn't want any more food. He couldn't remember the last time he'd been so full and sated from just one sitting in a meal. Realizing since the first time since he'd started eating that he wasn't alone, he raised his eyes to the woman across from him and he smiled sheepishly.
Rachel smiled back at him, but said nothing. She turned her head to her food and she started eating her own food. It was at this time that he noticed that the whole time he'd been eating she hadn't touched a thing on her plate. It was as if she'd been watching him eat and hadn't wanted to interrupt him with her own chewing. He shook his head, banishing those thoughts and he snorted loudly.
She raised her head from her plate and arched a single brow at him, but said nothing. She continued to eat slowly and delicately just like any good civilized person would do. He hadn't eaten like that he knew and he wondered what she thought of his eating manner. He felt his embarrassment notch up, but he pushed it back. There was no need to be embarrassed over how he'd eaten.
Finally, the Warrior woman finished eating and she licked her lips. She sat back on one palm and her other hand rubbed her stomach, obviously full. She sighed out loud, her eyes staring at him and she smiled at him. It was obvious that she was happier now that she was full of food and he smiled softly at her, amused by this to no end.
"So, tell me something about yourself." Rachel said suddenly, her voice airy and easy. She seemed all to comfortable with him in her home after sharing at meal. It was odd to him, but he could see no reason why he shouldn't trust her. It wasn't like she could hurt him after all. She was strong, but she wasn't strong enough to take him on and win the fight.
The Command Assassin moved his plate to the side and he placed his hands on the wooden table. He laced his fingers together as he stared at her and he composed his thoughts, trying to think of the best way to speak. Then, he decided to just tell her the whole thing. With that decided, he opened his mouth and began to tell the Star Elf woman his story.
He told her every last detail, his words coming easy and surprisingly unpracticed. He told her everything from leaving the Dalkian Empire, to his meeting the Amazons, the Wood Elves, the Wolfian's, the Barbarians, and finally the Star Elves. When he told her what his ultimate goal was, he noted that her face split with surprise and she stared at him with mouth agape.
"You're doing all this for a woman!" Rachel exclaimed, her voice rising in octaves until it was practically a shriek. He winced slightly, the sound annoying him, but he wasn't going to deny it. He was doing all of this for a woman after all and there was nothing he could do to change that. He simply stared at her, his emerald green eyes unblinking until she regained her composure. "Simply amazing. You've much more honor than I believed possible for one person."
The Chaos Demon smiled at that and he wanted to believe that, but he knew better. If the Star Elf knew what was going through his mind, she wouldn't have called him honorable. She would've called him a cad or a son of a bitch or even something worse. At this point in time, all he wanted was to pick her up and take her to bed. He wanted to have sex with her.
They sat like that for several more minutes, neither one of them saying a word. Then, she picked up the two plates, and with a smile at him, she turned before walking into the kitchen to the washing basin. He watched as she dropped them into the washing basin and began to clean the dishes.
The Command Assassin watched her for a moment, not sure what he should do. Should he leave now and never return? Or should he do what his instincts were telling him? Should he walk into that kitchen, grab her, and drag her to bed with him for a round of passion? Mind made up, he placed his hands on the table and he uncrossed his legs, pushing to his feet. Without a second of hesitation, he walked into the kitchen right behind her and he slid his arms around her hips, pulling her back against him.
Rachel gasped in surprise of his actions and she seemed to want to get away. However, right at that moment, she relaxed into his grasp and she pressed her hips back against him. He groaned in her ear as he pressed his cock against her buttocks and she moaned back.
She turned around and slid her long, slender arms around his neck. Her gray eyes were dark with lust as she looked up into his eyes. He stared right back, not afraid of what he was doing and all too ready to make this decision. A small smile tilted up the corner of her lips and she leaned up to kiss her. Lips pressing together, they kissed for several moments with passion and he lifted her, carrying her to the bed.
Their passion ignited for the rest of the night, consuming both of them in their flames.
Acheron came awake slowly, his eyes blinking open as consciousness fought back his sleep. His emerald green eyes came open fully and he looked across the room, staring at the darkened wall. However, that wasn't what he noticed the most. What he did notice though was the warm, slim body that he held in his arms, her back pressed tight against his front.
Remembering the night before, the Chaos Demon cursed himself for his weakness. He couldn't believe what he'd done and how he'd done it. He looked down at the back of the head of the woman in his arms who slept so peacefully. He felt bad almost immediately. It wasn't because of her that he felt guilty, but because he'd been too weak to resist such a beautiful young woman with a beautiful body. It was that kind of weakness that got people killed and he couldn't afford to be killed any time soon.
If he showed any weakness, his brother would use it against him and Azrieal wouldn't stop until that weakness caused his death. He had many weakness' that much he knew, but he couldn't allow this to be another weakness. He didn't want to hurt her feelings, but he also knew that he couldn't let this happen again. If he did, it would reveal a weakness in himself that he wasn't ready to face. He had to be strong and refuse to do this again. It was the only way to survive.
Sighing to himself, the Command Assassin carefully pulled his arms from around the young woman and he waited to make sure she was still asleep. When she didn't move, he pulled the covers off of him and he got out of the bed of furs. Then, naked, he walked across the room to his clothing and he bent down, beginning to dress quickly. When he was done dressing, he turned and looked to make sure she was still asleep. Seeing that she hadn't moved at all from when he'd gotten out of the bed, he sighed and he knew that he should leave, but he knew that he couldn't leave her alone while she was asleep.
Holding the hilt of the Diamond Blade, he walked across the room and he sat down next to the bed of furs. He raised his eyes and stared out the window. The golden sunlight was beginning to pour through the window by now and he was certain that she would be awake any minute now. He sat on the side of the bed of furs and looked at her, waiting. When she began to move, he turned fully around to look at her and waited for her to fully open her eyes.
The dark haired Star Elf rolled over, her eyes blinking open and still looking sleepy. She looked absolutely beautiful like this and he found it almost impossible to resist her. He would love nothing more than to bend down and give her a long, sweet kiss that would lead to more sex, but he knew that he couldn't. He had to speak with her and then get out of here before anyone noticed.
Her dark gray eyes were filled with slumber, and when she saw him, she smiled softly. She looked lost and vulnerable at that moment. Then, she leaned up in the bed and the cover fell down, exposing her breasts. She didn't even seem to care that her breasts were bared for him to see. He resisted from looking at her breasts and stared directly in her dark gray eyes.
"Good morning." Rachel said in a soft, sleep filled voice. Her lips spread back into a small, sexy smile and revealed her pearly white teeth. He wanted nothing more than to take her back to bed and have another day of passion with her, but he knew better than that. He had to get out of here.
Suddenly, the Star Elf frowned as she looked down at him and it was obvious that she'd noticed that he was fully dressed. It was obvious that he was going to leave her now, and from the look on her face, she didn't seem to want him to leave. He didn't want to leave, but he knew that he couldn't stay there with her because he would end up taking her back to bed and they couldn't afford to do that.
"I have to go." Acheron said in a calm voice and he stared into her eyes. Her brow furrowed up and she looked very disappointed in his words. However, he could sense no anger from her and he was glad for that. If she'd gotten mad at him, he didn't know what would've happened to him. "I need to speak with your King about something very important. It's about something I sensed in the Jungle when we were out yesterday."
The female Warrior frowned at his words and her lips pouted out. She seemed to think that he was easily manipulated, and if she pouted a little heavier, she could get him to stay with her. That wasn't going to happen however. He could resist the wiles of females when he needed to do so and this was one of those times.
The Chaos Demon rose from the bed and stared down at her. Standing at his full height, she looked like a small child looking up at her father and it made him feel even worse about the night before. She stared up at him, her breasts bared and naked before him, her dark gray eyes showing vulnerability. However, he saw through that and knew exactly what it was: manipulation. She was trying to make him feel bad for her and come back to bed with her, but that wasn't going to happen. He really did have things to do and he couldn't allow himself to become distracted by this woman again.
Without saying another word, the Command Assassin turned away from her and he walked towards the door. His boots made no noise on the floor as he walked and he stopped at the door. He looked back over his shoulder at the woman who still sat on the bed of furs and he saw the disappointed look on her face. He felt bad, but he knew that he had to do this.
He believed - in some small part of his brain - that she would call out to him and ask him to stay. That didn't happen however. Why would it? It had been a one night thing of that he was sure. At least, that was how she'd acted, though it was obvious that she'd been hoping for a morning romp. He had more important things to deal with though, and while the idea was attractive, he couldn't allow himself to be distracted from his goal today.
He had to speak with the King and he had to speak to him now.
That thought bolstered him through her front door and out into the village. There was no real design to the village, though at the same time it seemed built for defense. Each home, most of them small like Rachel's, was built along these ridges leading up to the top and circling all the way around. At the very center of course was the King's palace which rose up high above any of these wooden homes, and instead of being wooden, it was made of thick stone. The entire village was surrounded by the Whispering Jungle and there was a thin veil of mist that surrounded the entire area, hinting that it wasn't as it seemed.
Acheron noted that several of the villagers were already awake and going about their business. This was something that he'd noted in the past, but he hadn't thought that it would be quite as embarrassing as it was now. If they saw him coming out of her hut early in the morning, they would assume they'd slept together. Of course, they had, but that wasn't really the point. The point was what they would think of her as a result of sleeping with him and he found himself worried over what that could do to her.
Straightening his spine, the Chaos Demon walked quickly away from the small hut and towards the path that would allow him to walk straight down to the very center of the village. Keeping his eye on the stone palace, he made his way to the path and he turned sharply, walking down the path towards the palace.
As he grew closer, the Command Assassin noticed something that he hadn't before. There were more guards in the center circle surrounding the palace than there had been the first time he'd come there. He wondered why that was, but he assumed that it had something to do with him. After all, they did have a powerful Demon in their midst and it would be natural for them not to trust him. However, they had treated him like some kind of God when he'd first come so it would make no sense for them to think him an enemy now. If anything, their faith in what their ancestor had said he'd do for them should be renewed.
There had to be something else going on and he intended to find out just what that was.
