Unconventional Theft Ch. 02

"So what? The second most powerful demon in existence changed our memories so she could steal some magic items and free Lucifer from his prison? That about right?" Ashley asked.

Neither had seen her stood in the bedroom doorway and jumped as she spoke. Alex looked at her stood there in one of his t-shirts and he couldn't help but smile.

"Right love, that's about the long and short of it," Corvac replied.

"What about the other demons? Wouldn't they want to stop her too? I mean if she frees Lucifer I imagine he will want revenge on anyone that hand a hand in locking him away," Alex questioned.

"Right which is why the few that are still alive have all gone into hiding. None of them can stand up to Azilith and even if they grouped together there's too few. Many have died or become corrupted and actually want Lucifer free now," Corvac explained.

"How do you know all this?" Ashley asked.

"It's my business to know," Corvac replied.

"Right but how? Who are you? Look I'm grateful for everything you've done for me and Alex but I don't know you and now you're asked for help to stop a powerful demon but I don't know anything about you," Ashley pressed. Corvac looked at the pair, studying each one before sighing.

"Fine, I'll show you," he replied before removing his coat. Alex and Ashley watched as before their eyes Corvacs clothes began to melt away and his skin turned red. His body began to change becoming more muscular as he grew taller.

The pair watched in shock and fear as he finished changing. Stood before them was a demon. It had red skin, large muscles, horns protruding from the top of its head, a tail poked out from behind him and between his legs hung a very large cock.

"You're a demon," Alex finally muttered.

"Yes but as I said, we aren't all evil. I'm one of the few survivors who locked Lucifer away and I need your help to stop him being released. Not just for my sake but for humanities sake. If he gets out he will destroy this world," Corvalc pleaded. Alex didn't know how to respond.

"Fine we will help," Ashley replied. Alex looked at her in shock. "Well the way I see it is he could have kept lying and pretending to be human and he helped you get me back and if he really is telling the truth, helping him will be a lot better than letting Lucifer go free."

Alex needed a moment to think about it. As he did Corvac returned back to his human form, hoping it would help put Alex at ease. They all stayed quiet for a few moments but the silence made it feel longer.

"Fine," Alex finally relented.

"Thank you," Corvac replied. "I didn't want to lie to you and I was going to tell you the truth eventually it's just people don't exactly trust demons."

"Can you blame them?" Alex remarked.

"After how we've been depicted in human history no but as I said, we aren't all evil. Come with me there's someone you need to meet," Corvac stated. Ashley went to get dressed before they all climbed into Alex's car.

"So where are we going? Who do you want us to meet?" Alex asked as he drove.

"A colleague of mine," Corvac replied but refused to give more information.
