Undercover Ch. 14

I awoke to the feeling of lips wrapped around my cock. I laid still and kept my eyes closed, enjoying the sensation. The lips were removed, but only to be replaced by a different set.

"He's awake!" Shaya's voice.

"I knew that would do the job," Martina said.

Rumbled, I pried my eyes open. I was on my own bed and my two girlfriends were either side of me. They both had a hand wrapped around my dick as they looked up at me happily. My right thigh was swathed in bandages. Seeing that brought my memory flooding back and I sat up quickly - too quickly, as my head started to whirl and I slumped back against the pillow.

"Are you OK?" Shaya asked, scrabbling up the bed to me. She put her hand on my forehead.

"I'm fine," I groaned. "Just tried to sit up too quick, that's all. What happened? After I passed out, I mean."

"Harry did what you suggested," Martina said. "The whole town's talking about how Mayor Dansby shot an innocent woman and then turned the gun on himself. They say he couldn't live with the shame of all the police had found out about him."

"And Ashley?"

"She's going to be fine. The bullet didn't hit anything vital."

"Lucky girl," I murmured. "Help me sit up, will you?"

They did as I asked and took turns to kiss me while they were at it.

"You saved my life," Martina said. "I was sure Dansby was going to shoot me next. The way you rushed at him with no thought for yourself ... You're a hero, Ryan. You're my hero."

"Our hero," Shaya corrected her with a grin.

They both snuggled against me and I felt as content as I had in a long time, in spite of everything else going on. I had two beautiful women who I loved, and who loved me. I put my arms around them and held them close as I thought about the future.

Harry had lost his two key allies in a short space of time. I didn't know if he would ever be able to recover from that, but I wasn't willing to give him the chance. If we were going to take Harry down, this would be our best opportunity. All we had to do was work out exactly how to do it without dragging Lexa and the business down with him. And I had to make sure the two lovely ladies with me now didn't get dragged into things too. They couldn't be involved in what was about to go down in case it all went wrong.

"My sister Allie didn't believe me when I told her about you two," Shaya said dreamily. "She didn't think I could ever settle down with just one person - or two - especially after the Programme. If only she could see us now ..."

I gave her a little squeeze. "I don't think you'd be proving her wrong if she knew just how ... open ... our relationship was, love."

"Yeah, but she didn't think I'd ever find someone who would genuinely love me the way I am. So that means I was right and she was wrong."

"I have something to confess to you two," Martina said abruptly. "I didn't want to say anything before in case you didn't like it or it put you off me."

"I don't think that could ever happen," I said.

"Thanks, but I need to say it anyway. I've decided not to sleep with anyone else but you two. I've been thinking about a lot of things that have gone on lately-" she gave me a significant look, "-and it just doesn't feel right anymore. I want to save myself for you. Do you ... do you understand that?"

She knew that I would, but we both looked at Shaya.

She nodded. "I love you, Martina. I never thought I'd say that to another girl, but I do. Whatever makes you happy, makes me happy. But ... do you mind if we still see other people?"

"If I did, I wouldn't still be with you." She leant across me to kiss Shaya. "I love things just the way they are."

"So do I," I said.

The two of them helped me through my recovery. It didn't take too long - it was a deep scratch on my leg, but there was no long-term damage caused. Harry came to see me to check on my progress and update me on what was going on. Apparently, the police had concluded that Dansby's death was suicide and weren't looking into it anymore. Layla Lloyd truly had left town and even put her house up for sale to make it clear that she wasn't coming back. Ashley's recovery would take a lot longer than mine, but she was doing well and was well out of danger.

A few days after the shootings, I felt well enough to move about. Martina found a crutch for me to use and she and Shaya stayed close by my side in case I fell over. I made my slow way to the bar, where Harry was in conversation with Jeff. Joey, Rose and Mark were also all there and when they saw me, all of them broke out into applause. I acknowledged it with embarrassment and sat heavily on one of the bar stools.

"It's good to see ya back on your feet, man," Joey said, clapping me on the shoulder.

"Thanks. So, have I missed much?"

"Nah, not really. Things've died down again."

Harry came over to us. "My wife wants to see you," he said. "I think she wants to thank you for saving my life."

Unlikely, I thought. Aloud, I said, "I'd be happy to go and see her when I'm better."

"Actually, she's coming here this afternoon."

"Oh yeah, that reminds me," Shaya said. "Mister Coitan, I need to go out this afternoon. I want to buy Ryan something to reward him for being a hero."

"I couldn't refuse that, could I?" Harry replied. "Of course you can go. Just make sure you stay safe - things could still be pretty volatile out there. Actually, do you want someone to go with you? I could spare Joey or Ian ..."

"There's no need. I won't be gone too long."

I had an idea what form her reward would take and hoped I would be up for it. I hadn't had sex since being shot - the longest dry spell I had gone through since starting here by some distance. Both Martina and Shaya had wanted it, but even if I got an erection the ache in my leg meant I couldn't maintain it for long. Hopefully it was just a temporary issue.

I felt so weak at that point, I was at a loss as to what to do. I wanted to fight Harry, to bring him down like I had Lucketti and Dansby. There were times when he came across as a nice guy, but the knowledge of what he was doing to Nicole White upstairs remained with me. He deserved to pay for that, if nothing else. But at the moment I probably wouldn't win a fight against Martina, let alone Coitan and his cronies. Besides, bringing him down would require brains more than brawn. Unfortunately, my brain didn't feel up to much at that moment either.

I sat and listened to the others talk without really taking in what they were saying. After a while Martina noticed that I wasn't really with it and insisted on taking me back to my room. Shaya wanted to come too but I told her to get shopping for my reward and to make sure it was a good one.

As soon as I was alone with Martina in my room, I told her, "We need to get in touch with Lexa and tell her it's time. He may not look it, but Harry is at his weakest right now. We need to strike."

She nodded. "I was thinking the same thing. I'll go and call her now."

I stayed on my bed, determined to rest as much as possible. I didn't think I would be able to, but I must have fallen asleep. The next thing I knew, Martina was shaking me awake.

"Lexa's here," she said. "Mister Coitan wants you up in his suite to see her. Do you think you can make it?"

"I have to," I said, struggling to my feet. "We need to decide what to do."

"She has a plan," Martina told me. "She says she knows exactly how to bring Harry down, and all his men as well."

"How? To take them all down would need a lot of witnesses."

"And we have them. Trust us. Now, do you need help with those stairs?"

I definitely did. Even with my crutch, I needed her support on my other side and still the climb was a slow one. But I eventually made it. The guard outside Harry's suite grinned at me.

"Hey, hero," he said. "Go straight on in. Not you though, sugar," he added to Martina.

She patted me on the arm. "I'll see you later."

I managed the last few stairs on my own and the guard opened the door for me to go in. Harry and Lexa were sat on a sofa together, though both got up when I went in. Rose was also present, seated in the corner. But the first thing I noticed was that the door to Nicole's room had been hidden by a half-empty bookcase. I stared at it for a moment before tearing my gaze away. I saw Harry looking at me and knew he was urging me not to say anything about it. For now, I went along with him.

Lexa hurried over to me and took my hand. "I wanted to thank you for saving my husband's life," she said. Her eyes were fixed on mine and I could see the quiet determination in them. She wanted this to be over as much as I did.

She guided me over to a sofa opposite the one where she and Harry sat.

"How are you feeling?" he asked me.

"I'm good, thanks. The leg's mending well."

"That was such a brave thing you did," Lexa said. "I cannot believe how Daniel turned so suddenly. Do we know yet what happened?"

"Ryan was right," Harry told her. "Lucketti gave evidence against Dansby in exchange for his own freedom. I should have known that worm couldn't be trusted. Anyway, the police raided Dansby's properties and found the money he had stashed away from the auctions." He glanced at me. "I've had to go to the police station to give a statement, too. I denied all knowledge of course, and I think I am in the clear. They think I'm a victim of Dansby's scams, too."

"So it's all worked out all right, then," I said.

"Hardly all right. I've lost Lucketti and Dansby now. Without their protection we're going to have to lay low for a while until I can get more people in their positions. I-"

"Mister Coitan," Rose interrupted, "the interview's about to start."

"Oh, yes. Put the telly on."

The huge TV on the far wall flicked into life and the face of the local MP, Angela Canning, came on screen.

"This is obviously a sad time for Carnastown," she was saying. "First our police chief and now our mayor have been exposed for criminals, and the latter has sadly taken his own life rather than face up to the consequences of his actions. But do I think the town has a widespread corruption problem? No. A couple of bad apples does not mean the whole orchard is rotten."

I remembered seeing her at Dansby's party a while ago. She had been very keen on some of Harry's girls that night and kept on sneaking off with them into one of the bedrooms. She would be very keen, I assumed, to sweep all this under the carpet and pretend it never happened.

"We will of course conduct a thorough review," she continued. "No stone will be left unturned in our pursuit of justice. If anyone else is found to have been complicit, they will face the full force of the law."

"Huh." Harry turned the TV back off again. "Same old platitudes. You can always rely on politicians to have nothing useful to say. Still, at least she's toeing the line."

"She has to," I said. "She won't incriminate herself."

"True. The best way to keep people on your side is to appeal to their own interests. Right, we need to decide where to go from here."

"Husband," Lexa said chidingly, "I thought we were here to congratulate Mister Thompson here, not to put him straight back to work."

"Hah, you're right. My apologies."

Lexa moved over to sit next to me and put her hand on my shoulder. "You are a true hero, Ryan. It is just a shame that the circumstances mean we cannot tell the whole world what you did."

"I don't mind," I said, a little embarrassed. "I don't like the limelight anyway."

"I suppose as a cop you were used to situations like that."

"I've been in a couple before, yeah."

"It was your ability to keep a cool head that won us the day," Harry said. "And I was serious about finding you a suitable reward. How would you like to be the proud manager of your own strip club? I've been thinking for a while of putting up a new place somewhere closer to the town centre, maybe even in the warehouse where we held the auctions. I need someone I can rely on to run it and I can't think of anyone more deserving than you. What do you say?"

"That ... would be great," I said, knowing it was what he wanted to hear. And the idea did appeal to me, anyway. I felt sure I could run a cleaner, more efficient place than the Grand. "Would I be able to-"

"Shaya and Martina would go with you, of course," Harry said as if reading my mind. "I wouldn't be able to separate you three even if I wanted to."

"And Saskia," I said. "I want her too."

He raised his brows. "Not another girlfriend, is she?"

"No, but she has the experience I'd need to train up new girls."

"You know, I'm glad you're showing this enthusiasm for the idea. I wasn't sure if you would. Of course, the place is in Lexa's name so you would need her permission first." He smiled at his wife.

"You can do what you like with it," she said, sounding blasé about it. But I could feel her tension in her grip on my shoulder. "I don't get involved in the business side of things."

"But that doesn't make you any less valuable," I told her. "I know everything you do to help."

"So true," Harry said. "I-"

A knock at the door interrupted him and a moment later the guard poked his head in. "Sorry, boss, but Martina's here. Says there's something you need to see downstairs."

"Says it's important, boss."

Harry sighed. "Fine, I'll be right there. Lexa, please entertain our guest until I get back."

We watched as he left the room, heard the door lock behind him.

"Are we prisoners?" I asked.

"That doesn't matter," Lexa said. She got to her feet and Rose came to join her. "We don't have much time. Where is Nicole White hidden?"

"There's a door behind that bookcase," Rose said. "She's in there."

"I should have known. The idea of Harry actually reading in his spare time is laughable. Ryan, are you up to helping move it?"

I got up and tested my leg. It felt OK, good enough at least. Rose and I took hold of one end of the bookcase and hauled it round far enough to reveal the door. I tested the handle and found it to be unlocked. The door swung open.

Nicole was knelt on her dog bed, looking eagerly up at the door. She was still naked, though now she sported a studded dog's collar. The matching lead was on the bed.

"Oh god ..." Lexa breathed. "Rose had described it to me, but I never thought-" She shook her head angrily. "My husband is a monster. The sooner we bring him down the better."

I glanced at the accountant. "So you work for Lexa?" At her nod, I continued, "I had a feeling you did. How else would she have known that I had sex with Nicole? Harry and Joey wouldn't have told her."

"All the women are mine," Lexa said. "The Programme makes them loyal to me and me alone. They follow Harry only for as long as I tell them to. That's why I know we can make him pay."

"Are we going to free her?" I asked, motioning to Nicole.

"We can't, not yet," she said regretfully. "She is our trump card; we need her to be found like this. Plus we can't let Harry know what we're up to before we're ready. You two go and watch the door, make sure he hasn't left Martina too soon."

Rose and I went to the door. There was a small spyhole in it. I peeped out but for now the stairs were empty except for the guard.

"So have you worked for Lexa since before you went through the Programme?" I asked her.

"I haven't been through the Programme," she answered.

"What, never?"

"Of course not. Lexa and I are old friends - she wouldn't do that to me. And I needed to keep a clear head for all this to work, anyway."

"Wait a sec, though. The first time we met, you woke me up with a blowjob."

"So why did you do that if you were programmed to do it?"

"Firstly, because I have to do these things from time to time to make sure Harry doesn't get suspicious of me. And secondly, because I felt like it, OK?"

"You don't like me, do you?"

"Not really. Even after Lexa opened your eyes to what this place is, you still fucked around with every woman going. Even Abby Lloyd. But that doesn't mean I have no respect for you. I've seen the way you defend the women, too. You stuck up for Saskia against Harry, you protected Shaya a couple of times too. That's why I backed up Martina's recommendation to Lexa to bring you in on the plan."

"I see. So you aren't going to try and see me go down with the rest of them?"

"Lexa doesn't want that," she said, not really answering my question, "and Martina's spoken up in your favour to, though I don't know how much weight to give her opinion since she probably wouldn't even have slept with you if it wasn't for the Programme."

Lexa came back out from the other room. "All right, it's done," she said. "Quickly, put the bookcase back."

Rose and I did as we were told and soon the room was back how it was supposed to be.

"What did you do to her?" I asked.

"I prepared her for what was to come," Lexa explained. "When the police get here and free her, she knows exactly what to say and how to act. Now all we need to do is get everyone else ready."

I studied her and Rose and realised that I was with two beautiful blondes and they were probably the only two women in the building I hadn't slept with. I wondered if that was why I found them so attractive - the lure of the forbidden? I found myself imagining a threesome with them and my cock started to harden. I shook myself mentally; I had other things to concentrate on right now.

"So other than spy, Rose, what have you done for Lexa?" I asked to take my mind off it.

"As Harry's accountant, I've been perfectly placed to keep records on him," she said. "Every transaction he's ever completed is in my notes - including detailed accounts of his auction work. If the police got their hands on that, he'd be finished."

"Not only that," Lexa said, "she has been helping me funnel funds from the business into my own personal account. If Harry goes down, I don't want to be left with nothing. I've built up a very tidy little nest egg for myself."

Our conversation was interrupted by the return of Harry. "That was a waste of time," he complained. "Now, where were we? Oh yes, the opening of a new club ..."

It was over an hour later that our meeting finally drew to a close. Harry left to escort his wife back home. He said it was to keep her safe, but I remembered Lexa telling me that he liked to control everything she did and assumed that he wanted to make sure she actually went home.

I returned to my room. Martina stayed with me for a little while until she had to go and get ready for work - the Grand was reopening for the first time since the orgy. I, of course, had the night off. I was pretty sure I'd be able to avoid working there again until Lexa felt ready to bring it all to an end.

A big part of me felt regret over that. I had quite enjoyed my time at the strip club, and not just because of all the fantastic sex I'd had with gorgeous women. Just working there was fun, being able to enjoy the performances without having to pay to get in, getting to know the women and the punters, dealing with the miscreants ... I'd enjoyed myself more here than I ever had with the police. In that job, it was stressful almost twenty-four-seven. Even off-duty, my mind was on the job. Being here was the first time I'd really been able to forget about being a cop - a little too much, considering the period of time where I had more or less forgotten about being undercover.

When all this was over, I would probably have to go back to the police. Jonas would overturn my sacking and reinstate me, and I would have to try and go back to a normal life, although I would hopefully still have Shaya and Martina with me. Unless ... What Rose said earlier returned to bug me. She thought that Martina would not have slept with me had it not been for the Programme. How could I know that they were genuinely choosing to be with me? There would always be a nagging doubt in the back of my mind that it wasn't truly their choice.
