"What do I have to lose," I thought to myself. I then shut off my computer and headed to the bathroom and a long hot shower.
I closed my eyes and enjoyed the sensuous feel of the hot water against my skin. I smiled as thoughts of an afternoon of shopping filled my mind. That would be the perfect reward for a day off.
