She ran over to me, jumping on my lap, kissing me, clinging to me. "Don't say were" she sobbed. "Please don't say were like that. I am still all of those things. I need to be all of those things but, can't you see? It's not enough for me now."God, she was relentless. "You haven't lost me, John. I am still here. I will always be here. I promised you and I meant it."
"Ah yes" I sighed. "You promised me so much. Most sundays." I pushed her off me. "Don't worry, my sweet darling wife, I won't rock your precious boat."
With that, I went upstairs and climbed into bed. Soon after, she slipped in beside me and tried to snuggle into my arm, just like she did every night. I didn't let her. She turned over with an exasperated sigh and the house fell silent.

Anonymous27 days agoToo bad hubby didn't have at least a couple of even litle balls and maybe alittle sense. Get away asap, get all the evidence needed and burn them all as much as possible.
Anonymousabout 2 months agoMaybe continue the without the ending where some have told you the expect and want. What if someway they both give ground remaining together with a an arrangement both can except, but not at all a finale story.
Anonymousabout 2 months agoThe writings great. I liked the story. What I don't understand did you write your way into a corner, or did some comments cause you to leave it alone? I'm asking because I was left with the feeling this was the beginning of a much grander series, like those that most every long term reader on Litrotica not only knows about, but some where other writers have borrowed a character to use for their own story.
