"Okay." It gave me a warm feeling that he wanted to make me any kind of guarantee.
He yawned. "I don't know about you, but I need to get some sleep. I have to be back on the road tomorrow, and you'll want to get home to your kids." He kissed me. "Good night, Kelly."
"Good night."
He turned away from me, and after a moment I heard him snoring softly. I lay there listening until I fell asleep too.

michchick98about 16 years agoI am enjoying this story, but I can't help but wonder when something is gonna happen to pull Charles and Kelly apart, if only briefly. They seem well suited for each other. Don't keep your readers waiting too long for the next chapter! :)
