I don't know, this part left me lost. I thought it was supposed to be the end, but now I see one more to go. It felt like it was going to end too soon/short. The way the ex was behaving, she was trying to get him back, but then he wasn't interested in her, only the well fare of his child. And Susan being his lawyer, well that killed of any romance there. And Allie was too much like his ex-wife, especially since he had to force her to tell him he was Ben's father. So whittling it down, that really only leaves Marisa for him to try and hook up with. From the description of her, not a bad choice, as she's intelligent, good looking, has a sense of humor, and is willing to tell him the truth and how things are without sugar coating it.

I don't have a specific physical type of woman, I run the gamut from Kate Moss (skinny model type) to Angela White (sexy, curvy, womanly, want to cuddle forever type) looks may draw you in, but personality holds you there.

FUCK THE SOCIAL SCALE, Anyone who believes in Caste systems, etc... is a useless stooge. This chapter really didn't do any favours to the ex, not really sure how I feel about that. She made a mistake, seems to have changed and she's the mother of his child. I guess he's only putting in the same effort that she put in at the end, but still. Was his love for her that shallow?
