"You deserve an explanation," Shawn said but Scott waved it off and sat down across from his mother at the table.

"No, it's been since the day you left, time and circumstances permitting," Shawn explained. "It wasn't planned or anything. "Arrgh! Can't hear you," Shawn yipped as she ducked into her room and before she closed the door she poked her head back out for a second. "But I do love you and thank you being such a wonderful son."
