I couldn't help it; I was a bit worried. "Are you...okay?" I asked tentatively. Her smile got even bigger, and her eyes were as intense and filled with humor as I'd ever seen them.
"Fuck. You," she said, grinning.
Over the next hour or so, I discovered I had a competitive streak a mile wide that I had never been aware of.
