Anonymous (2): Continuing the story? Maybe but don't hold your breath. Writing your own- that is how I got started, writing my own versions of stories I thought were hot but could be tweaked to my tastes more, or that were not finished and I thought I could wrap them up. The thing is, though, that in either case, I did more than just file off the serial numbers- I rewrite them from scratch and usually mention the source as an inspiration. I strongly recommend that option if this interests you! We need more new stories!
