"It always is." I told him, nuzzling against him. Silence fell between us, but there were too many things left to discuss before we could move on. "Are you good with this?"
"You and me?" He asked, kissing my temple.
"Yeah."
"Of course I'm happy. I finally have all I ever wanted."
"Even though everyone knows about us now?" I asked.
He sat up and looked at me with such an intense look in his eyes I could feel my heart beat faster. "You are everything I want. If people have a problem with it, they can deal with it. I love you, and I am sticking this through. Maybe it took you leaving me to realize it, but it's what I want. You and me, together. Hopefully forever."
I couldn't hold back my grin as I pulled him down to me, kissing him gently as I wrapped him up in a hug. "I love you too." I told him.
"Don't leave me." He whispered against my lips as he kissed me gently.
"Never again." I promised.
And I meant it.

I hope everyone enjoyed the story! I really do apologize for the delay in posting. I was facing some major writers block after receiving some pretty harsh emails after the last chapter. But as promised, Jason and Matt got their happily ever after! I have another story in the works, and the first chapter will be posted soon.

isuckcoxndixover 1 year agoLoved this story. I do feel a bit unsatisfied, though. I feel like the Josh storyline was not given closure. Not only am I confused as to how Josh suddenly turned on Jason but I'm also confused as to how he continued to stay absent through Jason's scandal. Given how understanding Josh's character was in the earlier chapters, I find it hard to believe that Josh would have even suddenly turned against Jason. You even referenced it in the writing, saying that Jason didn't understand how Josh believed Jason the first time but this time was different. But I think even after the scandal erupted, it would have been a perfect opportunity to have some reconciliation between the two. I guess that's the problem with fiction, I guess. Lol.
But great writing, tbh. I enjoyed all the chapters.
Anonymousover 1 year agoI don’t understand one thing.. why wouldn’t josh believe Jason? They are best friends and he knows how Adam made a pass at Jason. Also why were Adam and Matt were shirtless that day in his room.? He said he was protecting jay but from what?
