Wronged

They walked over and got Matt who was happily playing by himself on the merry-go-round. "Time to go home and eat," he told him.

Nick walked Becky to her car and said, "I want to take you somewhere nice."

"Well, we are going steady so that seems logical," she told him sweetly.

The sun was setting quickly and illuminating her face in a soft, orange glow. "You look so good to me," he told her as he put his hands on her face.

"That's because it's getting dark," she told him.

"Hey, I'm serious. I don't like it when you put yourself down like that, Becky. Please don't do it anymore, okay?" He brushed her hair back and said, "You really are beautiful."

She didn't say anything. She just put her arms around him and stood on her toes and kissed him. "You make me feel that way, Nick. Thank you for that."

"So how about dinner tomorrow evening?" he asked her.

"Sounds wonderful," she replied.

"Pick you up around six?"

"That sounds perfect, too." He kissed her one more time before opening her car door and telling her goodbye.

When they got home Glenda said, "You were gone a long time. I was starting to get worried."

He handed Callie to her and sent Matt to the bathroom to start washing up and told him he'd be right there.

"Sorry, Mom. I would have called, but I met someone."

"Oh? Do tell?" she said as she bounded her granddaughter.

"Yeah. Turns out I have a date with Raquel Welch."

Nick spent the next few minutes explaining how he'd met Becky and the way he felt about her.

"So you're saying she's...my age?" his mother said trying to sound impartial.

"Well, not quite. She's five years younger than you."

"Oh, I see. But she looks like Raquel Welch."

Nick sighed quietly and said, "No, Mom. She doesn't look like Raquel Welch. She just looks a whole lot younger than she is."

"Younger than 45 then."

"Right."

It was quiet for a while before she said, "Well, I hope we'll get the chance to meet her soon." She began busying herself as a way of making things go away or least avoid talking about them any more.

Sunday evening, Nick drove to Laura's house to pick Becky up. When she came to the door, Nick was speechless. She was wearing a very dark red, low-cut, long-sleeved sweater and gray skirt with matching heels. The gold necklace and earrings make her pretty face look amazing.

"Are you going to come in or just stand there and let all the warm air out?" she said smiling her dazzling smile.

"Oh, right! Sorry." Nick stepped inside and Becky closed the door behind him.

"You look very nice," she told him.

"Me? Oh, thanks." He just kept staring at her.

"Did I spill something on my clothes?" she said looking down at herself.

"No. I just can't believe how great you look. I'm fast running out of ways to tell you how beautiful you are.

Becky laughed and said, "Every time I doubt myself about dating a younger man..."

"Going steady," Nick interjected.

"Right. Every time I think I'm crazy for...going steady with a younger man..."

"A very handsome younger man," he said again cutting her off.

"I give up. I just know you make me very happy, Nick. So whatever else I may be feeling about..." She said it all very fast, "Going steady with a younger, very handsome man..." she slowed down to a normal rate and finished by saying, "I find myself looking forward to seeing you again the moment we say goodbye."

"Okay. There it is. That's number three."

Becky raised her eyebrows and Nick said, "We now have three things in common."

"Oh, right! Third time's a charm. I remember."

"I'm dying to kiss you hello," he told her.

She put her arms around his neck and said, "I can't have you dying on our first date so..." She was in 3-inch heels and didn't need to stand on her toes this time but Nick did need to lower his head slightly to kiss her.

"Wow," she said. "That was nice. One more?"

As he kissed her softly again, the now-familiar sound of "Eewww!" rang out. "That must be my granddaughter," Becky said as she let go of him.

"Amaw's boyfriend is here, Mommy!" she hollered out.

Laura came out just long enough to say hello and wish them a nice time and lock the door behind them.

"This is a very nice place, Nick," she told them as they were seated at a secluded table.

"My dad's good friends with the owner," he told her.

He ordered them a glass of champagne before dinner and after the toast he pulled his chair around and sat next to her.

"I know it's our own private little joke about going steady, but our relationship isn't a joke to me," he began.

"Me, either," she told him as he looked into her beautiful eyes.

He reached into his pocket and pulled something out but didn't show her what it was as he continued. "You told Laura I hadn't given you my class ring yet, but now you can't say that anymore." He opened his hand to reveal a very large, gold ring that said "Auburn High School, Class of 2006." It already a nice gold chain looped through it for her to wear.

Becky saw it and removed it from his hand. "2006. Oh, my," was the first thing she said. Then she smiled at him and said, "You're such a nut!" She held it in her hand and looked at it for a minute then asked him, "Well, are you going to help me put it on or just sit there and stare at me?"

Nick smiled and opened the clasp then gently laid it around her neck and fastened it. When he looked back he saw tears welling up in her eyes. "Is it that bad?" he asked her.

She shook her head and blinked away the tears. "No. Not at all." She held the ring in her hand and said, "I used to dream of this kind of thing all the time, but it just never happened for me." She blinked several more times then said, "I'd pretty much given up thinking it ever would." Becky took a deep breath and said, "Silly or not, this was really special, Nick. I love it. Thank you." She leaned over to kiss him and he wanted her so badly it hurt, but he let himself be content with a very nice kiss.

As they were eating Becky said, "I know it's already getting old with me bringing up things that bother me." She pointed at him and said, "Not a word about 'old', okay?" Then she said, "No, 'bother' is too strong a word. Perhaps 'concern' is more appropriate."

"What concerns you?" he asked.

"Well, among several other things, I'm extremely...concerned...about meeting your mom and dad." She stared at her plate as she said, "They're going to be my age and I'm going to feel...strange."

Nick put his arm around her and told her, "I told you I can't do anything about the way you feel about me and this is something else I can't change. All I can do is assure my parents will love you once they know I love you. So don't worry about that, okay? It'll be fine. Maybe a little awkward at first, but this too, shall pass."

She looked up from her plate and said very softly, "You just said 'once they know you love me.' What did you mean by that?"

"I think you know exactly what I meant by that, Becky."

"Oh, my goodness," she said nervously.

"You don't have to feel the same way. I know this is just our first date. But as much as I can't change the way you think or feel about me, I can't change how I feel, either. Does knowing how I feel make you think differently about me?"

"No," she whispered without looking at him.

"Then what is it?" he asked he stroked her soft hair.

"It's just that I...I wanted you to say..." She was tearing up again and Nick put his hand on her shoulder. "Talk about crazy!" she said trying to lighten the mood. She took a breath then looked at him, "I thought for sure I was the only one who felt that way." Her eyes were looking for support and confirmation.

"You love me, too?" he asked as he took her left hand in his.

"Yes," she said her voice cracking. "I do."

"Well, okay. I love you, too," he told her.

"Nick? Can we go somewhere? Alone?" she asked.

"Sure. Of course we can. I'll get the check."

Half an hour later they were very near the waterfront on Puget Sound as well as two of the city's most well-known landmarks, Pike's Place Market and The Seattle Aquarium. Nick found a quiet spot where they could look out at the water as they talked.

"Is this okay?" he asked her as he pulled in.

"It's lovely," she told him.

"So what's on your mind?" he asked with genuine interest.

"Do you feel like maybe we're moving too fast?" She turned toward him and said, "I always told myself after my husband moved out I'd take a long time before ever getting involved with someone again. I planned to date a lot of different men before even thinking about making a commitment."

"Are you feeling trapped?" he asked her as he reached out for her hand.

"No, and that's the problem."

"Help me out here, okay? How is not feeling trapped a problem?"

"It's the push-pull between the hopeless romantic and the pragmatist."

"Who's winning?" he asked with a smile.

"I think you know the answer," she replied as she smiled back.

"Then I don't see the problem."

"Nick, you didn't answer my question. Do you think we're moving too fast?" she asked again.

"At the risk of adding to your concerns, I'll answer your question with a question." He smiled at her again and tightened the grip on her hand as he said, "What if you dated ten or twenty or even fifty other guys then, upon looking back, discovered the perfect guy was one of the first two or three you went out with? And let's say you thought he was everything you'd ever been searching for, but because of your 'first-fifty dates' rule, you lost the best chance you'd ever have. Would you be okay with that? Would you be able to chalk it up to the cost of doing business, as it were?"

"I loved that movie, by the way," she said.

"Now you're not answering my question," he countered with another smile.

"I'd feel terrible," she finally said. "If I had the perfect guy...if he came along early on and I refused to let him into my life by virtue of when I met him...and then lost him...I'd feel pretty awful."

"So may I ask you another question?"

"You can ask me anything, Nick."

"Is it at least possible you've you already found him?"

Becky turned away and watched the moonlight dance on the water. She sat there for quite a while still just holding Nick's hand.

"Does saying so out loud scare you?" he asked when she didn't answer.

"Yes," she said quietly.

"Why?" he asked as he ran his fingers over the top of her hand.

"Because I'm so afraid of being hurt again." She looked over at him and said, "I can't ever go through that again, Nick. Can you?"

"No," he told her honestly. "It tore a hole in my soul, Becky." He tugged on her hand a little then said, "But you filled it in for me. Because of you, I'm whole again."

More tears welled up in her eyes as she said almost in a whisper, "So am I."

"So...we both believe in the same kind of love. Both of us are the kind of people who love for a lifetime." He squeezed her hand then told her, "Becky? I want to spend mine with you."

"Nick?" she said as she sniffed and tried to dry her tears.

"Yes?"

"Will you promise me you'll never hurt me? That you'll never leave me?"

"Yes," he said quietly but firmly. "I promise you I will never hurt you. And I will never leave you."

"You know I'm a lot older and however you see me now, I won't look this way in 20 years when you're still young and handsome."

"My father once told me something I've never forgotten Something I very much believe. He said that if you grow old together with a woman, she will always be beautiful to you."

"And you really believe that?" she asked needing to know he was sincere.

"I do. Becky, you will always be beautiful to me because your beauty comes from within. As you said, looks get us in the door, but no further. You're now all the way inside. Right in here." He took her hand and placed it on his chest. "I love you, Becky. And...I'm in love with you."

"And I'm in love with you, Nick. So..." She took his hand and placed over her heart just about breasts and told him, "I'm giving you my heart. Please take good care of it because it was so badly broken."

"You have my word, my love," he told her.

"Then would you please kiss me again?" she said their hands still on the others' chest.

After a few minutes of making out like teenagers she said just above a whisper, "I noticed we passed several motels on the way here. I don't need anything fancy. I just want to be with you."

"I'm not taking the love of my life to a Motel 6," he told her. "We also passed the Four Seasons, you know."

"Nick, that's a five-star hotel. It's very expensive. We don't need to go there."

"I need us to go there, Becky. I know you don't care about things, and I promise I will never try to buy your love because love can't be bought. But when I love someone, I can't help but give them the best that I have to offer. And I love you and I can afford a nice hotel. What I can't afford is to have our first night together be in a place that isn't befitting such a beautiful woman. I want it to be as perfect as you are. So please, let me do this for us."

"Okay," she said as she continued staring into his eyes. "I'll follow you anywhere, Nick Cavanaugh. Anywhere at all."

Becky stood next to them as he signed them in as Mr. and Mrs. Nick Cavanaugh. "I like the way that looks," she told him as he accepted the room key.

They held hands in the elevator but didn't talk. There room was on the 7th floor and when the bell dinged, Becky said, "Lucky number 7."

Nick let her go first and said, "Lucky me."

He opened the door for her and let her in. As it closed behind them she said, "This is really beautiful!"

He stood behind her and put his arms around her and said, "Yes, you are."

She put her arms over his and said, "This is another of so many things I always dreamed of. Outside of my honeymoon, I've never been taken to a nice hotel by the man I love just because he loves me."

He kissed her neck and said, "You have now."

Nick felt himself growing as he held her. Her soft hair, the intoxicating scent of her perfume, the way her sweater showed off her tight waist and beautiful boobs. Becky felt him and pushed back against his growing hardness. "Mmmm. That feels so nice."

They stood there like that for a short while looking out the huge window toward Puget Sound where they'd just been when she said, "Nick, I haven't...you know...in a very long time."

"Me, either," he said. He thought back on the last time he and Kelli had been together and told Becky how long it had been.

"How about four years?" she said confessed.

"Are you serious?" he said with complete surprise.

"Very," she told him. She turned around and put her arms around him and said, "The sad thing is, as much as I enjoy making love, he just had no interest in it. At least...not for several years and...not with me."

Nick put his hands on her pretty face and said, "I don't even know how to process that. I wouldn't be able to keep my hands off of you." He kissed her and said, "Every single time I look at you, I can't help but want you."

She smiled and told him, "Then that's four things we have in common."

She yelped quietly as he bent down and picked her up off her feet and carried her to the huge bed in the middle of the room. He laid her down on it gently and said, "You are so incredibly beautiful it makes my heart hurt."

She pulled him to her and said, "That's number five." As they kissed, she began unbuttoning his shirt then pulled it out from his waistband and off of his shoulders. In one more move, his tee-shirt was off and Becky ran her hands over his bare chest. "My God, you are so handsome," she said as she pulled him close for another kiss.

She reached for his belt buckle and Nick did the work for her. Seconds later he was out of his shoes, socks, and pants standing next to the bed in a pair of white boxers.

Becky sat up, then stood, and finally switched places with Nick. She tugged on his underwear and he helped her get them off leaving him in front of her with his Johnson half way between a rock and a soft place. She reached out for him with her left hand as she pushed him onto the bed with her right. "Mmmm. It's so beautiful," she told him. "I just want to hold you and take it all in for a minute. I said it's been four years since I made love, but I can't remember the last time I did...this."

She took him with both hands and ran its growing length in them. "You feel so good," she told him. "Nick?" she said as she looked up at him. "I've only been with my husband and one other boy in high school. So if I'm not very good at this then..."

He pulled her up onto his lap and said, "None of that matters, Becky. All that matters is that we love each other. There are no rights or wrongs in the bedroom as long as both of us are enjoying it, okay? I promise I will be very happy no matter what we do."

"I love you so much," she said as she held him close.

When she sat back, he slowly lifted her sweater up and over her head and set it on the floor. She was wearing a lacy, gray bra which he unhooked and also dropped next to his feet. He lowered his head and took her left nipple into his mouth and gently sucked while using his tongue.

Becky gasped sharply. "Oh! That feels so good!" She pulled his face closer. Nick took more or her into his mouth, sucking hard drawing another gasp from his lover. Her nipples were rock hard as she lowered her head to his while he continued to pleasure her. He found the zipper on her skirt and as he pulled on it, she stood up to let him remove it. She stepped out of it then once again knelt between his legs.

He was now fully erect and wanting her desperately. "I don't have much to compare it to, but your...cock is huge!" she told him. She smiled and said, "That's the first time I've ever used that word before."

"I like hearing you say it," he told her. "It's very sexy."

She smiled back then took him with one hand and brought him toward her mouth. Her lips were a deep red, the color of her nails, and the sweater she'd worn. Her painted lips opened to take him in her mouth and Nick gasped with pleasure. Becky smiled then took him deeper. She reached out with her other hand and placed it softly under his balls and cradled them, rolling them between her fingers as she slowly bobbed up and down on his shaft.

"My God! I thought you said you weren't very experienced at this. You're amazing!" he groaned. He reached behind her head and pushed her down then let up the pressure before pushing again.

She came up briefly and said, "I love when you do that." She immediately took him deep again and this time he held her there for several seconds before letting her up. "Mmmm. That's so nice," she told him.

"It's pretty amazing from up here, too," he said. She laughed briefly between pulling his thick cock back into her warm mouth to take him as deep as she could. Nick groaned again with pleasure as she continued to slide up and down the length of his hardened shaft until he felt like he was getting close.

He gently grabbed her hair and lifted her head. As his cock popped out of her her mouth he said, "Come here, honey." She stood up and Nick quickly slid off her panties leaving her in just stockings and heels along with her necklace.

He pulled her on top of himself then rolled her over and kissed her as she reached for him between his legs. "Uh-uh," he said. "Not yet."

He began slowly making his way down her hard body stopping to spend time on Mount Left and Mount Right causing Becky to gasp and moan several times. He kissed her tummy as he lowered himself into Pleasure Valley coming face to face with her large, soft, gorgeous lips. "Speaking of beautiful," he told her.

Becky's hand was behind his head running her fingers through his thick, dark hair as he kissed her sweet spot for the first time. She gasped again and pulled him closer. Nick slid his tongue inside her and ran it from top to bottom over and over while he used his finger to gently massage her swollen clit. "Oh, God!" she cried softly.
