Yearning to Be Loved Ch. 04

She had dark brown eyes, but a glint of green in them as she turned to look at John and her father in the doorway. Denise was almost exactly as Cassie had described to John, as a very voluptuous big girl, like her mother and Cassie were. She was more demure, modest in dressing like Cassie was wearing a long dark crimson dress, that stopped above her ankles and showed her large breasts, and figure. She wore flat-sole shoes like her mother, and was stirring a pot of food on the stove. Her hair was like Cassie's, long and dark but curled with a faint red tint to it.

The two of them turned, as Cassie was busy seeing to the plates to put on the dining table. Aisha was first, running from the stove to hug John.

"My big sister's new boyfriend, definitely an improvement on Marcus. I'm Aisha."

Aisha stepped back and John smiled awkwardly.

"I'm John, pleased to meet you."

The moment Aisha heard the accent she was flustered, and grinning wildly.

"Oh my god, you were right his accent is sexy."

Cassie smiled, and rolled her eyes as she put down a plate on the table. The dining table was in the kitchen but in the corner of it, and it was a wide room for a kitchen acting as a dining room as well.

"Where you from exactly, I wanna google it later on."

Aisha asked, grinning.

"Glasgow, Saracen to be exact. It's an area of the city."

Aisha smiled, and pulled John by his hand towards the dining table and spoke.

"Sit, dinner is coming. Dad you too, mom has already said for us to get you sat down for dinner."

"Yeah, yeah. I know."

Reggie laughed, and sat down at the head of the table as John was sat at the right side. Cassie and Denise brought the food to the table, as Aisha continued to cook food on the stove. Veronica returned with clean cutlery, and placed it on the table in front of John and Reggie before going to retrieve bread. Reggie and John talked about John's job, and how he was finding America. Things were progressing, Reggie liked John.

When the family had first met Marcus, he was never really talkative and looked for reasons to avoid talking to Cassie's family. Cassie knew why now, years later after marrying him seeing as he was hiding a darker side he did not want people to know about. But watching John talk to her father, and her father actually laughing and enjoying the conversation made her feel good, better than she had in the last five years of her life that was for sure.

Reggie seemed to enjoy what John had to say, about his life, his job and how things had gone since meeting Cassie.

Eventually food was served, the girls all sat down and Veronica next to her husband. Denise was the last one, still to speak to John but as Cassie had told him he knew she was a bit shy.

"So John, how are you finding the States?" Aisha asked biting down on a piece of garlic bread.

John smiling eating some of the delicious pasta that had been cooked, it was made with a cheese saw and chunks of chicken and bacon in it.

"Well I'm enjoying it since arriving, it's different to the UK that's for sure. Getting used to dollars and stuff is a bit difficult, but otherwise yeah I'm loving it here especially since meeting Cassie."

Aisha smiled.

"Has Marcus been giving you guys any trouble, since the divorce?"

John turned, it wasn't Veronica or her father that had spoke. It was Denise.

John had to admit, he thought Denise would have been the last person to speak to him but smiled.

"He did at first, but he's got the message now that Cassie's moved on. We've had no trouble these past few days."

John and Reggie exchanged knowing glances, as the two ate the food on their plates.

Denise nodded, and went quiet again as she ate her own pasta.

"So how long have you two been together, John?" Veronica asked warmly, as she drank her glass of wine.

Cassie and John exchanged their own looks, but John knew what to say if asked this question.

"Well I heard the arguing from the house, when Cassie discovered Marcus had cheated on her. Came over to check up on her, and checked up on her regularly after that."

This was a lie, but John had to convince her family that they had been having a proper relationship and had not met up just over two weeks ago, and after a night out drinking had given into temptation.

"After a few days, we became close. A few times that Marcus came over, to hassle Cassie I was there to support her and make sure he didn't hurt her. He made some threats, here and there but he never did anything. Most of his threats were just idle, but you never know with some people."

John explained, as he drank from his own glass of wine and bit into a forkful of pasta.

"We never did anything, until the divorce was finalised."

This was to put off her family, since no one really knew when Cassie's divorce was finalised. She had given them an earlier date, to coincide with their relationship blossoming.

"Must have been hard for you to keep your hands off of him for so long, sis."

Aisha said laughing, grinning as she looked at me.

"Aisha, behave yourself."

Veronica told her mischievous daughter, but even Cassie laughed.

"It was difficult." Cassie said with a giggle.

The food was passing around, wine was being poured into glasses and the atmosphere was joyous for everyone.

"I would have found it near impossible to keep my hands off of him, for so long."

Aisha winked at John, and then Cassie.

Cassie knew her sister was being playful and giggled.

"I would have found it hard too."

Out of left-field, John looked to the voice and it was Denise smiling away as she looked at him.

Everyone laughed, even Veronica but she put on a stern unhappy look.

The meal moved on smoothly, Marcus only came up in conversation a few times. Eventually dessert was served; a rich chocolate pudding with strawberries.

Reggie had gone to watch the sports, and invited John to watch it with him which he accepted. In the kitchen the girls, minus Veronica were cleaning up after the meal together.

Cassie was cleaning dishes, as Denise was standing next to her.

"So, that John is a keeper huh?"

Cassie laughed gently.

"How do you do it, Cass? You've gone from having an asshole of a husband, to bagging a perfect guy like John. What was it, good luck?"

Denise was being friendly, but even Cassie could sense a bit of jealousy. Denise had been single for a few years now, only going on blind dates that never worked out. Most assholes saw her voluptuous size, and gave her no chance. It damaged her confidence severely. Maybe if John had met her, he would have revelled in her voluptuous body and curves which he seemed to love about Cassie's own body.

"I guess, he was just there when I needed him. I never asked for him, D. He was just there, and I don't regret taking that plunge and going for it with him. He's been the best thing in my life, in such a short span of time. He took on Marcus, gave me a chance after such a shitty marriage. He never ran when Marcus came hassling me, he stood up to him."

Denise nodded solemnly, drying the dishes Cassie handed her.

"Not many men would do that."

"Not many at all." Cassie added, after the fact.

John and Reggie was laughing, and talking about sports and the differences between American football and European football, or Soccer as it was called.

Denise had left the kitchen, and Aisha had walked in twirling as she came to rest against the kitchen-top looking at Cassie.

"He's perfect Cass, a handsome bastard for sure. But he also seems nice, something Marcus was not keen on sharing with anyone."

Cassie smiled, Aisha was a wild card but she always seemed to want the best for her older sister. Even with men, she had her reservations about Marcus.

"Nothing bad, that you see with John that you saw with Marcus?"

Cassie asked her sister, as Aisha looked at John sitting with her father in front of the television.

"Nothing, I saw so much wrong with Marcus but I see none with John. He has a connection with you, I saw Marcus had none with you. He's friendly with dad, and mom and he's just more approachable, more understanding. Cass, never let that man go. He was there when you needed him, be there for him when he needs you. I can see you'll both be very happy for a long time together."

Cassie nodded.

"I'll be there for that man, until the day I die; either with him, or still friends with him."

Cassie looked at John, sitting laughing with her father.

"I love him, Aisha. I fucking love him so much. I don't want to lose him."

Cassie was crying, the idea of losing John as she had lost Marcus to someone else made her cry. Aisha took her sister into a warm embrace.

"You'll not lose him, Cass. Marcus chose to cheat on you, I don't see him ever doing that to you by choice. Just be there for him, when he needs you and you'll never lose him."

Aisha rubbed her sister's back warmly, to comfort her.

"You will not lose him, make sure you never lose him. Do not take no for an answer from him, over anything. Love him, support him. You'll not lose him."

Aisha whispered into her sister's ear.

Slowly they broke their embrace, as Aisha wiped her big sister's tears away by hand.

"Come on, don't let him see you cry."

Cassie smiled through the tears, her eyes moist.

The sisters laughed, and went back to the dishes talking about how things had been going between her and John lately.

Eventually Denise joined them again.

"It's not fair."

Cassie and Aisha turned to their youngest sister, who was frowning.

"What isn't?" Cassie asked her.

"This, you had Marcus and I know he was an evil asshole but you were married at least. Now you have a better, nicer man and you'll probably marry him. I'm still alone, unmarried. No one wants me, but they all seem to want you two. It's not fair."

Without warning Denise stormed out of the kitchen leaving her sisters alone.

"What was that about?"

Cassie asked Aisha.

"She's been single for a long time now, Cass. The Danny guy she was dating about three years ago, used her for sex. The next day he wouldn't answer her calls, or anything. She's lonely I guess, you've been married, I almost got married. You have John, and I can go out there and hook up with any of my ex's. Denise is alone, it's not fair for her but it's not your fault."

Cassie went quiet, thinking about her youngest sister's life. Denise had been alone for so long, and now Cassie was with a great guy. She could see why her sister was so angry, so jealous at life.

Eventually with the dishes washed, and put away Cassie knew Denise had gone to her bedroom stating she was tired. Everyone went into the lounge, and watched the news together.

Everyone was happy, and by 9pm everyone said their goodbyes and John and Cassie began the journey home in the car together.

As they found themselves about an hour from the town, John had noticed Cassie had been silent for most of the journey to the town already.

"Cass, babe. What's wrong?"

Cassie looked at John driving them through the night, along the high-way.

"Nothing, just some things with my sister."

John took the chance to look at Cassie in the darkness of the car.

"Aisha, or Denise?"

Cassie was quiet for a moment staring out the car window.

"Denise, she's sort of jealous about us; you and me. Jealous about me meeting you, getting you. She's also jealous about Aisha, who has the charm to get a guy quickly."

John nodded.

"Did you two argue, in the house?"

Cassie swung her head.

"No, but she was upset and said those sorts of things. She's been alone for a while, three years since the last guy who took advantage of her for sex and then dropped her."

John spoke, as he steered the car into another lane.

"I don't know why, she's attractive enough. I don't see why guys aren't interested in her."

Cassie nodded, seeing that she was right. Something about her body enticed John, with her curves she had no trouble with him. Denise had bigger curves, but still attractive.

"She's not too big, for you? I mean if you weren't dating me."

John laughed.

"But I am dating you, Cass."

"I mean if you weren't, would you?"

John thought about it, to him it was an obvious answer. Denise was bigger perhaps, thicker body than Cassie's slightly but still pretty, and with a body like hers she'd show a man a fun night easily. Thinking back to the dinner, the red crimson dress clung to her chest. She must have had bigger breasts than Cassie, or similar in size at least. He also saw that she had thick, womanly legs and thighs and liked to wear nylons. He knew this since when she got out from her chair at dinner, he saw her legs shine slightly. She either wore tights or stockings under her dress tonight.

To have been honest, if he wasn't dating Cassie but had met Denise he would have gone for it with her, without question.

"Yeah, I mean if I hadn't met you I would have babe. Your sister's a nice girl, she'll meet a guy who sees perhaps what I see."

Cassie smiled, John was being honest. He loved Cassie, but he was honest; he would have fucked her younger sister had he not met her and had met Denise instead. It meant nothing, she had put him on the spot. But it made her feel better that a man saw the beauty in her younger sister, even if Denise didn't see it herself.

The rest of the journey was quiet, as Cassie fell asleep in her seat. She would wake up an hour later as John pulled the car into the driveway of her house, and to bed they would go.

Persist In Reading, or Don't Bother

I write the story as I like to write it, I'm not giving spoilers away but it's not as simple as John admitting he found Denise attractive, if you remember from how John got the feeling that Denise wasmore...

If John goes for sad sack Denise or Cassie gets those two together, it will be a mess. Cassie might as well had stuck it out with cheating Marcus. John having sex with Denise will make him no differentmore...
