Tendencies...what they are and how do they define us as individuals? When I was younger I was far less inclined to follow those initial presumptions of what felt like just a passing fancy. Immaturity was my excuse then, today, my life has far more continuity, I embrace who I am and what makes me tick, regardless of inhibition. As a self taught, fine artist I have had the luck to be able to perceive with clarity what I most desire, to remain true to my artistic roots and follow the sounds of my every whim and how it may translate, creatively. I in essence make way for what wants to exist in either the form of art or poetry. I believe wholeheartedly that following my intuitive instincts as they bubble up at random, makes for the most satisfying imagery. To not try and manipulate and over think where my work is headed has forged a very clean and honest representation of what it is I am attempting to convey. The erotic thread that runs through from time to time has often been the most rewarding. To fail to emit those primal emotions and stifle them inside, is not only an injustice, it transforms itself into something far more tragic; unrequited, unfulfilled tension. I seek to alleviate my lust filled ache as it arises and I am thankful indeed to have an artistic outlet to do so. It keeps me healthy, happy and vital. Clearing out the creative queue is the best way for an artist such as myself, to move on in my journey and follow what's next. In some ways, the acknowledgment and handling of everything I am thrown emotionally, steers me on a course of insatiability. I must admit, it is that hot pursuit that keeps my life not only interesting, but very worthy indeed.
