I'm an 'Out of work Rocket scientist' which is almost true, my work history was of a very technical nature, troubleshooting and fixing all manner of systems, from purely mechanical to purely electronic, and all things in between. Better than 18 years of this sort of work has left me with one major character flaw - 'Unless I see it for myself, there is doubt in my mind associated with it's validity'
That attitude has caused much stress in my life, especially with my spouse, who often questions my motive in doubting her assumptions.
The only place I put this quest for truth aside is in reading fiction, and in the places my own internal worlds take me, and trust me, there are many.
Oh, if I could bring just a few of these from my mind into the common experience we all call reality! But alas, I'm afraid the only way for others to visit my realities, is through writing about them.
