In my lifetime, I haven't done a lot of original writing, but I have done a very large amount of editing. I edit friends' papers and stories and seldom visit Wikipedia without fixing some bothersome grammatical error. I may eventually submit a work of my own, but for the most part I am here to help out my fellow writers (as well as enjoy their work).
