I have always loved reading. I have loved to write for as long as I can remember, but I'm essentially lazy. You know; dragging the pencil across the paper, erasing, constantly rewriting, editing, revising, commiting to pen or type, keeping track of papers. Yuck! That's why I love the new technology. I can take my work anywhere I go, make changes on the fly, move from piece to piece, without shuffling through piles of papers. I can be creative, anywhere, anytime, not just at 3:00 in the morning, when everyone else is asleep. I know, I've been a musician and composer for forty years. It's just not feasible to carry a guitar or drumset wherever you go, but now with the advent of mobile apps, you can do just that and use those creative moments, that come to you throughout the day. |
