I've been a long time avid reader of Lit and finally putting down some stories that are on my mind. Writing has been even more of a challenge lately, as real life concerns have consumed even more of my limited free time. The Last Man on Earth created a lot more interest than I ever expected.. thank you! While wrapping up the final edits on LMOE, I have just started another new story that will take a while yet. The concept and first page or so is in draft, but there remains a lot of work to do. After finding out how hard it is to write these things, and not wanting to disappoint readers with a terribly drawn out series, I am focusing on writing more complete stories. Ones that come to a conclusion in one read, even if they leave the door open for more. I agree with many comments that there is more to be written about the characters I've already introduced to you. Right now I am focusing on getting some newer ideas into text form. Eventually I will circle back and develop the earlier stories further. Thanks so much for your interest! |
