I have been writing erotica for one year, specifically with the idea of a blind or vision impaired audience in mind. I think it is a real challenge to make erotica that doesn't rely on visual cues or vision-oriented voyeurism. I focus instead on sensation and sound. This can be difficult to comprehend as a sighted person, as when we close our eyes to fantasize it's is so often imagery in the minds eye that gets us going. But I do my best to push this aside and focus on the other senses.
