The name arises from the North West of England where the somewhat damp climate used to be ideal for cotton spinning and weaving. Hence the name, Alwaysraining.

I write to keep my mind active and for my own enjoyment. Recently my wife read some of ny stories and enjoyed them, but she would say that wouldn't she? If you enjoy them as well, so much the better.
