A few words about me:
I'm a non-native speaker of English. Although I was born and have lived for quite a few years in English speaking countries, my mother tongue is not English. Also, I'm not an English literature professional nor have I studied English Lit in any capacity at a university level.
What I can tell you is that, I have a great affinity for writing. I find it easier to write in English than I do in my mother tongue. For me, writing is a calming, soothing experience which allows my imagination to run wild. I have a voracious appetite for books and I read and write in English on a daily basis.
I prefer to read and write long winded stories, where characters are well built and defined. I enjoy a good plot with a strong romantic element. At the same time I strive to create as realistic a plot as possible without any huge leaps of logic involved. |
